“Dock 86 and HOM In Lakeville, MN is like a furniture store on steroids. They are two distinctly different stories yet they're very similar in a lot of elements. The main level is all the HOM store. The upper level is all dock 86. There is a different feeling when you do go upstairs but I am always surprised by the number of choices you have. I list and sell a lot of homes in Lakeville. I've been living here for almost 30 years.I also help home buyers find their dream home. Part of the service that I always provide my clients our options not only to handymen, contractors and other people who can fix things. I also like to be in the know regarding different furniture stores, carpeting, flooring and other options.
Most of the home buyers I work with are always looking to do something to improve the new home they're moving into. I like to send them here because they have such a wide variety of choices in furniture as well as art, carpeting, rugs and everything else you can think of. But I like how they set up sections of the store like a full bedroom. So, you can get the feel for what that couch would look like if you added side tables to it, a foot tool, a certain type of rug or lighting. It's an easy way to stay on top of the newest styles in furniture as well.
I talked to several different staff members while I was there, and everybody was very kind and very helpful. I appreciate being able to go into a store and not get mobbed by the salespeople. But you know they're there and willing to help if you have a question. We're very lucky to have stores like this in the South Metro. It's nice that you don't have to drive all the way up to Minneapolis to find a store with so much furniture and options. Everything from traditional to modern. I believe there's something for everyone here and the prices seem reasonable as well. I highly recommend this store to all my clients, and I would recommend them to you as well.”

“So glad this is here in Lakeville! Great place to get together with a friend(s) and do a fun project. I've done two different workshops, one with a large group of Girl Scouts and a Ladies Night. The staff is incredible and made both nights super fun. They walk you through each step and are all very wiling to assist and make recommendations. This is fantastic since I am not artistic at all... but this was simple, steps are easy to follow. And the art is completed by stencil! Don't be scared off if you don't feel very artsy... if I can do it, you can do it.
Again, can't say enough good things about the staff. They are so friendly, patient and helpful. Even though the event was done, the owner didn't rush us out the door and even helped us perfect our projects. This would be a great place for a birthday party or staff Christmas party. Highly recommend!!”
