It was over 90 degrees and thought a vanilla shake would be nice. So on my return trip I stopped at this Kwik Trip I saw on the way there. I go in and see they have a Freel Shake machine. I put it in the machine and choose extra thick. I didn't see any of the long blue spoons that everyone else has that has a Freel machine. I asked and was told to grab one by the hot food. All they had were those really deep soup spoons with a handle so short you'll lose it in a shake. Or get the sticky crap all over your fingers. I Guess I had no choice. I then had to ask where the shake straws are. I was told all they have are the short narrow kind. I think a person would have better luck trying to suck a golf ball thru a garden hose. The shake was done and it was so runny and thin, there's no way anyplace would try to sell it as a shake. The guy behind the counter just shrugged his shoulders with a smirk. I've never seen a Kwik Tripp as pathetic as this one. Dirty floors too. The area around the shake machine was filthy and sticky. I left the shake, soup spoon and short skinny straw there. Now my steering wheel is all sticky from trying to get a shake! It's a leather steering wheel too. Great, now my phone is nasty too. Thanks for the experience. Unbelievable. No response necessary, I tried of excuses and nobody taking ownership of their incompetence.

You offer Upside discounts at his location and not the Elm Street location, but the charges to the credit card appear from the Elm street location that I do not go to. I might need to dispute some charges with the CC company.

i love this kwik trip but a woman with black hair and tattoos on her neck was incredibly rude to me and my friend after i not only bought gas and planned to get a ice cream, she told us to hurry up and we were annoying her, i see why she was working a late night shift cause during the day, this would be unacceptable

Only ever had an issue with the "food taster" employee. The past 8 months (January 2024) she has never spoken to me or offered me a taste sample. The first time she spoke to me was 3 weeks ago, and she asked me if I wanted chicken (racial/facetious, idk). When I mentioned that she always ignores me, she responds with "really?" And then followed up with a 10-second laugh. I looked at the gentleman who was cashing me out and he laughed too. No apology, no sympathy, not anything. I went back on 8/1/2024 and 8/2/2024. They were serving pizza. She gave me a harsh stare the first day. Second day, we made eye contact again, but soon turned her head, and offered the man behind me a sample. I don't get acknowledged in this store. I hate it because it's convenient for me. So, I just started going to Cub or HyVee because I feel uncomfortable shopping here. And spending my money in a place that doesn't seem to like me can't keep happening. No other big complaints

I tried the online ordering today since I am on crutches and needed items. The order could have been delivered but I needed to get out of the apartment.
My order was around $30 and said it would be ready by 3:48pm. It stated in my message that I could click the link when I was leaving my place. I did that at 3:20pm knowing I had a stop before going to pick up my order that would take about 15 minutes or longer.
I arrived at 3:45pm and clicked the "I'm here" button in the app. I waited and waited for 12 minutes before calling the store and said that I was here to pick up my order. The young gal was trying to get my location and car info and I had told her that I entered all that on the app.
It took about 4 minutes before they brought my order out to me.
Waiting a total of 18 minutes is not acceptable for curbside pickup.
One item was incorrect in my order. I requested a Dr. Pepper Zero bottle and received a Diet Dr. Pepper. They are two different flavors. I didn't notice that until I got home and unpacked everything. I wasn't going to go back again.
Please have your staff ensure correct items are in the bag. I also wanted to redeem some of my visits for a few items and they were not discounted on my order either.

Neither the rollers and other hot foods were available. Also the employee leaving the store didn't even slightly bother to open the door for me when I walked inside. Rather poor first impression unfortunately.

This place never has the coolers stocked anymore always empty. Have to go to hyvee gas station to get something to drink and thats an inconvenience. Car wash is a hit or miss last time it didn't even dry my car and left soap.Have to say though nice people work here.

Is it weird to write a review about a gas station? Not if the staff is as consistently friendly as they are here. The workers at Kwik Trip are definitely a cut above anywhere else. Kind, courteous, helpful, professional.On to the other stuff: The "88" gas is consistently among the most competitively priced in the south metro area. The food offerings are fresh and well-made, both hot and cold. You'll find great deals on bananas, eggs, and bread consistently, and other great deals will pop up around the store.The car wash was the best in the area before a Bubble Barn opened up a quarter mile away. Nonetheless, Kwik Trip's car wash pricing is still better, so you can still get a good car wash at a decent price.The staff deserve one more shout-out before I go. With all this good stuff, it's the good people who keep me a consistent customer. (There's a newer, shinier gas station across Cedar Avenue with similar features, but they don't match Kwik Trip's personable customer service.)
