My wife and I attended a great lecture about the geology of the Driftless area that was catered by Juniper's from Lanesboro. We have also hiked here twice and. What an awesome and important resource for the community to have as a learning center for kids and grown ups.

The kids all had an amazing time learning about nature and the outdoors. A nice property and the staff was very nice and caring and patient with the kids. The food was meh but it wasn't meant to luxurious.

Went here for a school field trip back in October. It was an ok experience but lots of stuff was not good. Let me start off with the rooms as a lot of the fixtures are broken or they squeak. They do not provide you with any bedding so your on your own. In some of the rooms the air conditioning or heat was not working. The staff was rude and had to wait with a friend 30 minutes for toothpaste and a toothbrush. Some of them were rude and did not seem like they were having a good time. Some of them actually were pretty good. Otherwise the best parts of the trip was the ropes course and the breathtaking view of the bluffs. The food did not get any better as the Pizza tasted like it was reheated and cardboard while they did have some good wraps and a good breakfast buffet. However some of the classes were pretty boring and did not feel a learned much but, that’s just my opnion but, some of them really did teach me some stuff. I would not stay here again I would rather do the ropes course, look at the views, and leave. I just felt like the entire trip was a big wait and I would not like to spend anytime in the dorms. The point is that they need to redo and remodel the place beacuse it needs it bad. Did appreciate some of the effort, but I just would not come back here. Nice Location though.

We purchased tickets for the High Ropes Course and had an amazing time!! We knew with the storms over the weekend that there was a chance we wouldn’t be able to do it but we did. Everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The other group didn’t show so it was just the two of us and the instructors Ian and Erinn who were wonderful! We had an amazing time and would recommend this to anyone and everyone. I did the ropes course as a child through school but the course has been updated and is all centrally located just a walk up the hill. There were many different choices of obstacles to try and the zip line was the best part. Ian gave us ways to make the course harder if they were not challenging enough as well which was not needed but greatly appreciated. We spent about an hour and half on the course and got off a bit early to make sure we were not stuck in the storms. Thank you to everyone there and we hope to be back in the future!

Went for a field trip and was excited for the dorms. Mattresses are not comfortable, The food is not it. The food wasn't appetizing. Got sick after eating almost every meal. The sink water in dorms smelt really bad. The only good meals were breakfast. The good side is the classes. Besides them being around 3 hours long, some were fun to do. The ropes course was fun but scary as I backed out.

Worst food ever. They barley give you any. It tastes disgusting and isn't cooked all the way. It is horrible. It looks gross too. The dorms are ok. The water smells like rotten eggs. The shower is super tiny too. There is mold in the walls and in the faucet. The ropes course is nice though. There is a zip line at the end which is super fun. The ropes course could have been longer but it overall pretty fun. I would not go back to this place if I had the chance. I would only back for the ropes course but nothing else. Definitely bring snacks if your going.

It's not bad just not a great place for views.Trails were well groomed but not marked well for our tastes. Their place was empty except for one biker. The rope courses and such were there for the schools that visit.

We were in the area and felt like some hiking. Trails were well marked with a good amount of elevation change. If looking for some light/moderate hiking with good views (especially in fall with leaf color) a nice stop for an hour or so.

Stayed here for a large group retreat and had a mixed experience. The accommodations were your standard bunk bed quad room setup with a shared bathroom. The center is quite large and can easily house a couple hundred guests. Lots of open common space for people to lounge, play games and meet. Great trails and extracurricular activities like ropes course and rock climbing wall. Here is the big downfall and why I can only give it 3 stars....the food is painfully awful. It's some of the worst cafeteria style food I've ever had. Bland, next to zero flavor and most things are over cooked so it's rubbery and tasteless. I packed my own snacks because I had heard about the negative food experiences from others and thankful I listened to them. While I wouldn't mind coming back to Eagle Bluff for a future to retreat, I would make sure to pack even more food next time to compensate for the abysmal dining.

Wonderful facility for a relatively small-group camp! I went last summer for Stringwood (chamber music camp) and it was beautiful! Not too hot even in August- some days were quite warm (85) but some didn't get above 70. Of course, where I'm from, those are typical winter temps...The ropes course was challenging but a lot of fun, canoeing was great, and we went for a few runs either through the trees or along the road. Lots of outdoor opportunities!Food is relatively usual for a camp-type place- sometimes it's really good, sometimes it's meh. We didn't get a lot of chances to interact with the naturalists/Eagle Bluff staff, since a lot of what we did was music, but when we did, they were wonderful- very informative and helpful and welcoming. The dorm building is nice, it has a large open area with a ping pong table, a fireplace, and a great view out the window, good for hanging out in. Rooms are suite-style, one bathroom/shower shared for two rooms that each have two bunk beds. The only downsides- no cell service (not a huge deal, I mostly needed it to check the weather), there were a lot of bugs (though I imagine this is only true in the warm months), and I lost my phone while canoeing because of course I did.Other than that it was an awesome experience! I came for the music, and stayed for the location!

January 2023 by All for you
It’s was so fun!! We went this year and it was beautiful. The activities are great, and the food is somewhat good, staff were amazing, although we were forced to have out water and juice and clean, but it was selected and I was separated from my friends and group cause I was picked to clean. You were also forced to do the rope climbing and it was terrifying. I did not want to do it because my harness broke on the training course and I was worried it would do the same very high up. Otherwise the rooms were clean, the showers where nice, and I loved the campfire. I definitely recommend if you have no fear of hights and you don’t mind being separated from your friends to scrape trays, mush old food, clean tables, and hand out juice. I loved it!
