A Bit smaller then other dollar generals but it's very well stocked. I was impressed with how clean this store was. They have a self check out machine that only takes card which is great if your running in and out like me.They have someone stocking shelves near the front to assist with those paying with cash. I plan to go here from now on

So many other places to shop instead of this place! My daughter and her cousins were stopped and questioned, and according to DG it was because they were in the store for an hour, which is "suspicious" behavior. The associate that was working asked my daughter what is in her pockets, to which my daughter showed and answered, “my phone”. The associate then continued with these girls saying she is “really starting to question what is going on here” because they were looking around, picking things up, and putting them back. You know, what most people do when they are shopping!!! She then proceeded to tell them that “they are looking suspicious, and the little girl has a bag with her” The sales associate refused to give out any manager contact information until she was pressed over the phone and then I stopped in to get it as well. I have called the district manager Andrew, who seems to not care at all! Not one apology, not an offer to give their money back, because they STILL bought something after all this, nothing was said or done (yet) to rectify this when NOTHING was in their pockets. They stole NOTHING! This store simply saw 4 Hispanic kids shopping around and thought “this is suspicious” I asked Andrew if he would like me to share the recorded part of the conversation to which he said “I guess if you want to you can to help paint your side of the story” I then asked him for the VP of sales contact, because of his lack of caring, and he refused to give me any other contact information and referred me to the DG site to fill out a “contact us” form. I’d like to point out that no one else was stopped while they were in the store, just the 4 little Hispanic girls walking around. They did not steal a thing and continued to purchase something. I will not support this kind of behavior and please ask yourself if this was your kid, would you shop here again?

stores are always gross, messy and unsafe. it's very unsafe to have boxes piled in the aisles for customers to trip over... can barely push a cart in the store.

the stores are crowded, there is never more than 1 employee. they employees I have encountered are rude and unhelpful. TheDG app doesn't work correctly. The SG near me won't accept $20 bills because they claim they don't have enough cash in the register to give you change. It is ridiculous.

Absolutely worst place. One bathroom is broke down. They refuse to let you use the other. Normally you have one rest room it becomes unisex. Also they don’t have nothing stocked. It all sits in bins on the end of the isles.

I was at the dollar general in the Walnut plaza in new Braunfels today and I was so impressed at how clean and well organized their store was. The employees were super friendly and made the visit so nice. There was no complaining about long lines or not having certain items. Thank you and I look forward to shopping here again.

This is the dirtiest, nastiest Dollar general I have ever been in. I love shopping at these stores but I won't be back to this one ever again. Shame on the people working here for not doing a decent job of cleaning the floors & having it look so horrible. I just moved from Hebron, I'll be going back to the Hebron store to do any shopping. The manager Ryan at Hebron location actually cares his store & does a really great job there. Thanks Ryan in Hebron for having the cleanest store around.

I was happy when dg opened near us. They canned the best store manager they had been with company for 20+ yrs. Now we got untrained employees. Food staying out of freezer till it’s floppy and goes back in for sale. Very unsafe. Does dg care no they run their operation like the mafia. Lazy store managers with employees willing till they see how the norm is. District managers who treat customers like complete garbage. Get better dg. Or no one will work for you at minimum wage when mcds is 14+ a hr.

This company literally couldn't care less about their employees which ultimately means they couldn't care less about their customers. You don't even have to work for them to know they are money hungry, greedy company that only cares about lining their own pockets. Stores are a mess, employees are so unmotivated because they are being paid peanuts and are so overworked and overwhelmed. You cannot have good customer service without taking care of your own people and making sure they are happy, fully staffed and motivated to care! This company should be absolutely ashamed.

I had about $100 worth of laundry and cleaning products in my cart this morning and spent 30 minutes trying to download the coupons from the DG app that the store advertised as sales. There was absolutely zero cell service in the store, I even stood out in the parking lot and even their “guest WiFi” wouldn’t let me access the app. Once I got out of the parking lot I had full service just like I always do anywhere in the area. I 100% think DG has signal blockers in their store
