Wild Country Maple Products is a hidden gem located off the beaten path in the forest, offering a beautiful and unique drive. The business operates from a charming little country store shed that works on an honor system, allowing visitors to pay via a self-serve station. The owners are lovely and proud creators of delicious maple products. Their offerings are amazing and outstanding. Customers highly recommend the original maple syrup, described as the best ever, along with vanilla-infused syrup, unique bourbon barrel-aged syrup, and wild rice. The maple caramels are consistently praised as melt-in-your-mouth delicious and out of this world. The store also carries pancake mix and other merchandise. While the road can be rough, it is well-signed and plowed, making the trip very much worth it for this must-stop destination.
The most amazing syrup!! We got to try some samples and they were delicious. The dirt road isn't too bad riding there, easy ride on our Rav4. We were lucky enough to have met with the owners and they were so kind! Excited to go again!

What a gem of a place! I think this shop will be an annual stop when we camp near Lutsen every fall. The maple caramel s! And the cinnamon vanilla maple syrup. So good!

Took the short drive from lutsen resort and so glad we did. We got some syrup, wild rice, Caramels, and pancake mix. The driveway was plowed nice even after the recent snow and the self pay venmo station was a plus! Will definitely be going back for more, everything was amazing!
