Decent little store but they don't have a lot of actual hardware things in stock. It's starting to get more like a regular junk type of store where they have tons of junk for sale instead of actual hardware. The ones in Sioux Falls have a much better selection of actual hardware so if you need something your probably better off going to the other actual hardware store on the south end here in Luverne or to Sioux Falls to an Ace up there instead. Also prices are on the higher end here locally as well.

Most of the employees @ night are fairly young and somewhat unhelpful. I can't ever get any help finding anything amd I'm usually told they don't have it, only to find it after looking for some time. I know it's probably impossible to know of EVERY product or expect high school students to be able to offer home repair suggestions amd etc but it would do some good to educate them a bit on products or suggest they help the customer look if they don't know for sure.

Shopping here was a breeze, thanks to Kevin's exceptional assistance. He went above and beyond to help me find the plumbing items I needed. His knowledge and expertise ensured that I got exactly what I needed and helped with some tips to get it done right. Any time I’m there or my family is there he’s been fantastic to get help from. I can’t say the same about the younger generation working there but there’s still people there who are more than happy to help! Thanks Ace!!!

If you’re a white guy above the age of 25 you’re gonna get great service. Anything else and you’re likely to get blown off. I do maintenance on my own car for lack of trust in mechanics and being taken advantage of. Went in looking for a very specific tool to work on my car. I talked to an older gentleman who was on the computer. I asked if he could look up the tool I was looking for. He didn’t even try looking it up and immediately told me he didn’t think they sold it there and got a look from him like I asked him for blinker fluid. Went to a different worker who looked more friendly, took him less than a minute to look it up on the computer. I got a much more friendly interaction from him and a customer nearby, he’s why I’m giving an extra star. Poor service from the older guys who work here. The workers need to have top tier service for the prices they charge here.

Clean, organized, and good service. There are lots of different things to browse with a surprising amount of children's toys and art supplies. They have been missing a few specific things (pipe fittings, bolts, tools) I have gone in looking for, but I will continue to go back.
