Oh, where do I begin with my latest culinary escapade at Pizza Ranch Luverne? Picture this: a cozy evening, a craving for something sweet, something spicy, and there I was, ordering their Sweet Chili Pizza, large-sized because go big or go home, right? The description promised a delightful drizzle of Sweet Chili Sauce over chicken, green peppers, red onions, and pineapple—a symphony of flavors. Or so I thought. In a bold move, I tweaked my order to have a "light" drizzle of Sweet Chili Sauce, envisioning a delicate, subtle enhancement to my pizza. Alas, what arrived was not a pizza, but a Sweet Chili Sauce pool with a pizza floating somewhere beneath. My quest for a light drizzle turned into an epic tale of sauce and survival.Armed with a stack of paper towels, I embarked on a rescue mission. Each blot brought me closer to the actual pizza, but also a step away from the Sweet Chili dream I had envisioned. It was a battle of wits and willpower, a test of my tolerance for sweet chili sauce, which, don't get me wrong, I adore—but not in quantities that threaten to obliterate my taste buds.Let's talk viscosity. With a viscosity of 1054.0 ± 19.0 mPa.S, Sweet Chili Sauce is not your run-of-the-mill topping. It demands respect, a gentle hand, and an understanding of "light" that seems to have eluded the staff. It's an art, a science, a delicate dance of drizzling that was sadly missed in my pizza's preparation. Now, I'm not unreasonable. I understand the allure of the Sweet Chili Sauce, its seductive spice, its sweet embrace. But when I say "light," I envision a pizza where the sauce complements, not drowns, the ingredients—a pizza where each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors, not a test of my sauce tolerance levels. In conclusion, my adventure at Pizza Ranch Luverne was nothing short of a saucy saga. A tale of expectation vs. reality, of too much of a good thing. To the staff, I say this: the art of the "light" drizzle is a skill worth mastering. To future patrons, tread lightly on the Sweet Chili Sauce, lest you find yourself on a similar voyage of discovery and paper towel consumption.

Great small town restaurant. The type that not only provides great service and good food but participates and gives back to the community they service. Can't think of a better restaurant to spend your hard earned money in Luverne.

Pizza, salad, hot bar buffet. Well stocked and fresh. Clean and tidy. Had salad and pizza. Standard fare, nothing special. Except it was well made not just 'buffet' filler. Cashier was pleasant. Manager? came through the dining area 10 minutes after we sat down checking on everybody. Saw her a couple times checking on things. Clean bathrooms. Several to go orders picked up while we were there. Small game room attached.

I liked it until today 8/4/23 because my pizza wasn't how I ordered it and the chicken was recooked which made it bad since the few times that I had chicken it was freshly cooked.

Always great Pizza, but so much more for that person who doesn't like pizza. Even our vegan son finds a great salad bar.

I love this place..and I understand things happen..like tonight..I plazed a order for delivery 8 price chicken potatoes slaw and of corse biscuits...I called back with in 2 minutes and said I didn't want burnt chicken, light color plz. Poor lil girl didn't hear correctly so I got all white chicken..that was awesome..I didn't think to ask for light biscuits bcz these hockey Puck biscuits were uneatable..they were hard as a rock...such a disappointment...there's nothing like dipping a biscuit into grave..we tried just tasted burnt...rough day guys?

Great place for the family. Senior discount. Clean! Nice employees. Excellent gluten free pizza. The buffet has good selections and is kept well supplied, fresh and clean. The coffee with soft ice cream in it makes a great dessert drink. Overall, very well run.
