They performed a free oil change for me during their annual Salute to Veterans event—and even provided lunch. That alone says a lot about who they are, but the service backs it up. The staff is always extremely friendly and professional. They walk you around your vehicle while it’s on the hoist and show you exactly what they’re looking at.
Both of their shops are unbelievably clean and well-organized—honestly some of the cleanest automotive facilities I’ve ever stepped into. The pride they take in their workspace gives me confidence they’ll take the same level of care with my vehicle.

“Jerry and the team have been taking care of my vehicles for 4 years. My dad was told by a dealership that he needed a $4000 repair on his Traverse. He brought it in to Maplewood Auto Service yesterday and they told him there was a minor leak in a seal. The repair the dealership wanted to do was not necessary and was not even the cause of the leak. Having an honest, trustworthy mechanic is hard to find. This is the place! Thank you Jerry!!!”

I was really having a hard time when I first brought my car in here a couple years ago, but their patience and compassion was really meaningful to me. They are always so kind in helping me understand what I need to prioritize vs what can wait and why. But they completely eased my worries and made me feel safe there when I first came in basically on the verge of tears a couple years ago and they assured me that they would be totally comfortable with their own daughter traveling home for the holidays in my car after a couple quick & affordable fixes -- they let me know that the rest could wait and it would be ok. That made me really trust them so now they're stuck with me & my car anxieties! Plus their pup Gunner is pretty great company in the waiting room ;) Thank you all so much for helping me feel less overwhelmed when I'm faced with unexpected car issues, and even giving me little tips and tricks for things I can try to help save money on my own!”

“Was assisted by Brett, professional and courteous tire installation. Car drove fine for my short trip home, will know better on longer trips how well-balanced they are. Tire installation took about 1.25 hours, which I can do on my manual changer at home (not complaining, just an observation). Happy with the service and would go back.”

“Don't try calling on the phone, there's not enough people there to be able to answer it. And, in general, they're operating on a skeleton crew here, so everything takes hours.You gotta schedule any tire work by appointment, due to COVID-19. And it's pretty much booked a week out.Pit stop oil change, $20, they just change the oil and that's it. No appointment necessary. But it can take up to 4 hours. And, if you show up within 3 hours of closing time, you can expect to be turned away because they're booked for the rest of the day.Timing is everything here. Usually, you have to wait in line for 20+ minutes, just to talk to someone. They need more people working the front counter!”
“On the day we went in to get our tires installed they were short handed and behind schedule. We had 2 vehicles done and were there 5 hours. We had purchased a wrong set and had to return them, and the manager didn't care much at all, and didn't do anything about it. At this moment you may wonder why I rated so high. That's because of Heather. She was extremely insightful and got the return solved, and throughout the time she was amazing with my kid.”
