“Highly recommend this center! Our two-year-old daughter has been coming to this KinderCare center since she was 6 months old. To say we are pleased with her care would be an understatement. She loves going to school to play with her friends and teachers, and we love knowing that she'll be safe and in the best hands. They have well-rounded meals, specialized units each month and activities each day, and most importantly, the staff love our daughter like she's their own. We can tell she is learning so much- about school basics but also interpersonal relationships and friendships. We also love getting photos and descriptive updates on their activities each day. For 2 full-time working parents, this KinderCare location and staff gives us such peace of mind by providing the best possible care for our daughter. Great communication, management, and all-around experience!”

“We absolutely love this preschool! My 3-year-old daughter has thrived here in every way. They have the most creative and engaging activities — from water days, bounce houses, and princess visits to wacky hair days, face painting, and fun outfit theme days. The curriculum is amazing, and it’s clear how much thought and care they put into making learning exciting.
I also appreciate how they keep parents connected by sending updates, photos, and videos throughout the day through their app — I get to see her smiling, learning, and having fun in real time! Since starting here, my daughter has grown so much academically and socially. She’s learning new things every day and has developed such confidence and friendships.

“Awesome staff and very welcoming towards children with special needs. I noticed that parents of the normal children tend to over react not knowing the full situation. There were employees that got let go and were spreading g rumors about how the place is run If it were such a bad place why does the school district and other daycare steer the mentally disabled children there? My sons both loved it there!”

“We love LADC-Redeemer. It’s our childcare hidden gem. The staff is amazing! As a mom who was once hesitant to start daycare with her little, they put me at such ease and have never once let me down. It is so obvious how much each staff member cares for each and every student. I know my child is safe and cared for each day and my child enjoys being there. They encourage each student to be their best selves and to grow! If you’re considering LADC-Redeemer, do it.”

“Our son has been going to Oakdale Kindercare for less then a year. I am happy to say we are very happy with our decision. All of the teachers and staff have been wonderful to our whole family. It was his 1st time being cared for outside of the house and family. The 1st couple weeks with any change was not the easiest, since then drop offs are seamless because he is happy in the morning to see his teachers and others classmates. We also love getting progress/update photos throughout the day to see how our little man is doing.”
“The staff at Raising Star have been wonderful & my kids love going there each day. They get to spend so much time outside, exploring and just being kids! They are able to get messy and dirty & it’s encouraged! My son is a high energy boy who loves to explore & this is the perfect environment for him! I have had experience in all of their classrooms & honestly trust that my children are well cared for. They have handled questions or feedback promptly & are always open to collaboration on challenges in parenting. I appreciate that when there is something to explore or experience, the teachers are right there soaking it in with the kids every time I am there. Thank you to the teachers for getting dirty right along side of the kids!”

“I honestly dont think 5 stars is enough. If i could give 10 i would. The vocabulary my children have learned while attending WAU is amazing. People always complement me saying “Wow i can not believe he is 5 years old!” “Wow i can not believe he is 2 years old!” You can carry full conversations with them and I have WAU to thank for that! They are always doing arts and crafts, hands on projects or activities (with lots of cute photos and updates), teaching my oldest how to write and read so now hes able to identify words while reading and writing them out, they are giving them meals while encouraging them to try new things if they don't recognize foods as something they'd usually like! The teachers are quick to let me know when something is needed for my children so they are never going without. The infant teachers Ms gemma and Ms pam are amazing. I remember being SO nervous to leave my 6 week old newborn and they have never failed to amaze me! They love my daughter like their own it seems like. And my daughter really loves them! Shes 1 now and she gets so excited when she sees her teachers and even the director Ms Dawn! She even knows sign language which i thought was SO cool. I really like how when my oldest in pre k is having a tough day they work with him on what is going on instead of calling me for him to be picked up. Ms Dawn does an amazing job with this facility, her teachers, her classrooms, EVERYTHING! If you are looking for an intimate daycare where the teacher to student ratio is perfect for being able to properly care for kids and looking for a daycare where teachers treat the children as their own, WAU is perfect! The Halverson family loves it here and we will always have amazing things to say! :-)”

“I was hesitant to send my son to daycare when he was a year old but I got pregnant again and was going to need to work to support my family, I toured one daycare before this new horizon and still felt uneasy about putting him in. I went to new horizon on York for the tour and left knowing I was putting him in this center. The staff care for him like their own , now when he walks into daycare and actually closes the door on me and his dad to leave. My 3 month old also is attending now and I have had no concerns yet ! We pick them both up with clean diapers and smiles on their faces. Can’t wait to watch how they grow with this center. !”
