Bought a pumpkin pie. Accidentally dropped it on the pavement on the way out. As I returned from putting my groceries in my car, an employee had come out to offer me a replacement pumpkin pie for free. I don't mean to sound dramatic but if the corporations end up going to war with one another cyberpunk style, I'm on the side of Aldi's.

Although you can't get everything you're looking for, it's the cheapest grocery store in town. Aldi's produce prices are cheaper than other stores' sale prices. I love the unique, German import specialties and the specialty refrigerated case in the back corner. Bring a quarter for your cart and bags or boxes. If you forget, they'll just give you a quarter, and they have boxes you can use too. The checkers are super fast. You can also do self check out.
