Really benco?? You guys are more expensive than any other electric/gas company I have had, FOR WHAT???? Bad customer service?? Paula is legit the worst person I have ever dealt with. I have worked in customer service for DECADES and let me tell you, the job either makes you more empathetic and mature - where you learn to not let your feelings dictate your mood and treatment of customers or you're the opposite and end up like Paula.

This company has terrible customer service. I've been trying for 5 months to get my Mom's electric bill in my name. 5 frickin call to customer service and they have screwed it up EVERY Time!!!!

Benco is a joke. They are happy to charge you an arm an a leg. But as soon as you need a tree removed from over a power line, touching and all, they basically say "oh well not our problem".Be weary when going through benco.

Called at 4 15 on a Friday. Just finished closing. Got "after hours" call center. The gal told me if I was selling home they would disconnect service and if new owner had not setup service they would have no electric .. she then asked if we would like to continue service for a few days prior to disconnect request. What? Crazy. Uninformed. Then she said I should call back during normal business hours to confirm this is done. This is 2022, right?

The CTV is a joke!!! I quit paying the monthly fee because it hits 55 degrees and every TV channel is gone for the entire summer, until about the end of September. It's such a joke. Ever since they went digital with this, it never works. It's excuse after excuse....it's too hot, it's too humid, it's to windy, it's too snowy. I mean, come on here. This is a service that works about 25 percent of the year. It's ridiculous!

Does their best to serve the customer. Usually knows the power is out before you do. Knowledgeable about concerns that I've had and do their best to help. Can't help but laugh at all the one star reviews as I've had high rate n terrible service through alliant energy. Keep up the great work Benco, the true customers understand and appreciate all that you do.
