My son uses this bank and is stationed in Iraq. Because he is unable to do banking I have POA and do most of his financial matters. It has been extremely frustrating to do banking here. Just to do deposits, cashier checks etc they are always asking for my id or proof of my POA papers which I have always given them. But now they are requiring that I be put on his account to do his banking. They know me and have been shown all the paperwork but yet they treat me like I just walked in for the first time. I would expect this from a large bank like Wells Fargo.

Not the best to work with on a cabin mortgage. I would suggest finding someone with a lot more knowledge so your closing doesn't get moved three times.

Due to Covid, the board has become risk averse, meaning only the elite are now eligible for a mortgage. Worse they couldn't be bothered to disseminate this information to their employees, meaning I was told I was preapproved for a mortgage, made plans to sell my house, and then was told my preapproval was denied because of the new policy. Thankfully, I was able to stop the sale before I became homeless. Bank elsewhere

Shane and Jamison are YOUR GO TO GUYS for ANY small business needs. SKIP Wells Fargo at all costs and go to your local bank. During the time which we as a small business needed care and attention the most, which was during the COVID-19 crisis, Shane and Jamison worked night and day to get our PPP Loan along with a myriad of other services. LEAVE the big banks NOW and trust in local relationships as that is where the service and care is when you truly need them the most. Any small business will be floored by the care and attention you will receive along with the ability to beat the BIG BANKS and their rates. When it comes right down to it, you read about it in the news, Wells and the big banks are in it for the profits and abandon people at times of need. Shane and Jamison worked tirelessly (literally) through the night to keep our business running. The proof is in our employees still working and our patients still being cared for - if you see a Wells Fargo sign - run the other way! If you see Bremer Bank - stop in for a cup of coffee and see how they can make your financial well being that much better.

Nicole was very helpful and friendly! She helped me open an HSA account today. She was also kind enough to give me some information on their checking and savings account. I will for sure be switching over from TCF.
