Employees know how to click 2 buttons and can only communicate the same 6 sentences (an impressive 32 words in total)
Tech supports only two phrases include “Did you troubleshoot?” and “Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do”
This company having a 1.6 rating is generous seeing that 90% of the time your internet is out with a 100% chance they will nothing about it.

Phone Line was cut last October. Told it would be buried soon. It's been recut and not buried yet. I've tried calling every three weeks ,wait in line for an hour before someone talks , transfer you too a different department and after 2 minutes they hang up on you. Not a way to conduct business.

If I could give no stars I would. The Internet quality is horrible not to mention the customer service and Tech support are the most unhelpful people on this planet. We’ve gone 2 weeks without internet. Someone came today and fixed it for an hour then it went down again and now it “can’t be looked at” for yet another week. I have never had such problems with a company before. They truthfully do not care for their customers and make them pay for services that don’t work.

Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. We have had fiber optic cable laying on top of our lawn for eight months. Any attempt to contact them is routed to some out of state call service. Emails are answered by AI chatbots. The local office? Locked up tight as a drum.

slowest speed for crazy amount of money

They don't even deserve one star. Every night I get less than a quarter of a Mbps when I'm paying for 10. It took me more than five minutes to load this page. It is such a tragedy that they're the only internet service for most small towns. What they're doing is criminal.

Nonexistent customer support. Horrible website. Stuck on hold upwards of 3 hours to try to get a human being on the phone for technical support.

tbh how are you still around as a company your service is garbage cant even keep a simple connection wonder why people are dropping you like crazy its cause you have the worst service of any company around the united state i thought back in the day virgin mobile was bad but shockingly you have top the chart with worst service i have ever seen to anyone who sees this if you want reliable internet that does not drop then avoid this company as they can barely keep a internet connection stable and for what ever you pay for speed wise expect way less in mbps for download and upload speeds

Have been on hold on and off with tech support to set up my new unit for over 2 hours. Terrible. The worst experience I have ever had with any customer service ever. They put you on hold every half minute because they truly are inexperienced and don’t know how to solve your problem. If you have other options, take them.

I've been waiting over a year now for these clowns to come bury my drop line through my yard. They would have to do this if they hadn't cut the line right after they initially buried it. We call them weekly will no avail. The worst company you could hire. To top everything off, they put the power box in the field approach fir our hey field. Due to the line through our hey field all year, we weren't able to bale it.

I don’t understand how the WiFi can be so bad after us upgrading multiple times. I play video games and so many times I have switched the network on my ps4 to my iPhone personal hotspot over the WiFi at my home. The range is bad because directly 1 floor above it I get horrible connection but regardless, anywhere in the house is bad. I hate to give a bad review but it is honestly deserved when I try to play video games and it lags every 3-5 seconds of the game or the entire time. Then on top of this when I go on here to look… they have a 1.7 star rating.PS5 connection speed (download) - 3.2 mbps

Had 2G fiber installed a week ago, and after the installation was complete, the tech let me know that the Fidium router doesn't provide 2G throughput and is limited to 940 MB. A second tech came out several days later and explained that the only way for me to utilize the new service I'm paying for is to buy a router with 2G throughput per port, as opposed to 1G. I asked if there were additional steps I would need to take to ensure the new router would work with Fidium, and he said all I would need to do is contact Fidium, give them the MAC address of the new router, and I'd be all set.Fast forward one day to when the new router arrived. I plugged it in, contacted Consolidated, and reached somebody in a foreign call center who really didn't understand English, instead reading from a repetitive script. They continued asking questions as to whether they should send a tech to inspect my connection (I told them 2 techs had been out in a 4 day period), asked me for so much irrelevant information that I ended up asking what that has to do with this call, and offered to have a supervisor call me back, which never happened. Before terminating the call, I was told that so-called customer service agent set up an appointment for a (third) tech to come out the following day.I then reached an English speaker in a call center in the States who was able to register the new router (or so I thought) and briefly show a connection... which died as soon as I got off the phone. Long story short, I've been waiting on initial hold for my 5th call of the day for a total of 25 minutes, with around 2.5 hours under my belt for the day. Fast forward to the following day, and the tech that was promised by the degenerate call center rep never showed up.I should probably terminate this call due to the unheard of wait time, but I think I'll terminate my service instead.

This is the only internet provider in my building and I still want to cancel. I pay for 250Mbps, but struggle to do anything. I get less than 50Mbps download, upload is atrocious, and I don’t bother gaming anymore because my ping makes the game unplayable. Also, they forced me to have a tech come out just to plug a router in? This is the first company I’ve had do this. Just go with Spectrum if you can. Their speeds are honest, their techs and customer support know what they’re talking about, and their pricing is reasonable. Consolidated? You might as well use a cellular hot spot.

If I could give a 0 out of 10 I would. I usually don’t ever complain but costumer service was horrible. I got left on hold for almost an hour in total. Not to mention I got switched to 3 different representatives. When I finally got one willing to talk instead of putting me on hold she was extremely rude from the start. After she had her rant session and belittled me she put me on hold and hung up. Not impressed at all, if this is how their business is run, they need to get better employees that value customers. I would NOT recommend getting service here.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. Internet provider? They don't provide any internet. At best, the very very best, I am able to get 8-10mb/s download and 2-3mb/s upload over WIFI. This is with just me on the WIFI network, it gets significantly worse when my roommate is also trying to use the internet. Please don't yell at the customer service techs or the call center reps, they are simply doing a job to provide for their families.Instead, DO NOT CHOOSE CONSOLIDATED COMMUNICATIONS!!
