I received a cardigan sweater as a Christmas gift. It was a medium. I wear a large. I went the crumby little Mankato Minnesota JCP to return it today. I liked the sweater and wanted to exchange it for an equal in my size. The crumby little Mankato Minnesota JCP didn't have anything at all on the shelves. The cardigan had the tag on it. I didn't have a gift receipt. It shouldn't matter. With modern technology everything is tracked. Just scan the bar code on the tag and it gives you the time date location and price paid for the item. The clerk gave me the lowest price on the item within the last 90 days; $10.39. She refunded me with a gift card, which I used to purchase a cardigan on line for three times the amount of the gift card. JCP cons their clientele and still goes bankrupt? They need to just close.

Was a couple days late n my payment.
Had to 75 bucks. Lol.

A little sad. The a/c wasn't working well when we were there. It was warm and humid. They have a large selection. Decent prices. Staff wasn't very enthusiastic.

I was very disappointed in the recovery of the store. Merchandise on the floor. Empty tables of merchandise. I work in retail and the appearance of the store is totally unacceptable.

Tried buying a set of sheets, the sign said $39.99 for all sizes, the price rang up for more, the cashier told me to go take a picture of the sign and come back. The only checkout open was half way across the store from the bedding, needless to say business was lost.

Mankato MN J C Penny Store. Was in your store this morning 4-8-2024. It was a mess! Unfolded clothing in every department laying around hung over racks and on the floor. The shoe department had opened boxes of shoes all over the floor, and several shoes out of boxes with no box to be had.I couldn't belive how messy your store is. I couldn't find 1 single Clerk to help me. I left. Did not purchase.
