“I got a vertical labret and eyebrow piercing done here last summer by Susan. Susan was great, we had great conversations, she explained every step of the piercing, and made the entire visit extremely comfortable and pleasant. There was a girl working at the desk with black hair, i do not remember her name, but she was extremely kind as well. After that visit, I went online to leave a good review and read other reviews stating that some of the staff here are very rude. I couldn't believe it based on my experience, but I only interacted with two people.I was in Mankato a few days ago and decided to get another piercing for my birthday. The girl that greeted me was very nice and took my ID and I explained to her that I wanted to go rinse my mouth and spit my gum out in the mall bathroom, to make sure it was freshened for her. I am aware that they have you swish your mouth before but I still wanted to go do it myself. They have a stand in the entrance and take your temperature immediately before allowing you to enter the shop. The piercer, Caylah, was extremely nice to me the entire visit. She pierced my philtrum. There was a pink haired girl, a dark haired girl, and another girl with her hair in two braids. The braided haired girl was extremely nice, she complimented my hair and t-shirt, the other two girls did not say anything at all to me. That was unexpected as the other times I've visited, every single staff member has been really nice. I understand that COVID19 has made work very difficult, but, I also work with people on a daily basis, and no matter how awkward or annoyed I am, I always make it a point to have conversations with people. The piercing went well and is extremely gorgeous.As I was leaving, I did not want to touch anything with my bare hands, as everything is very clean in the shop. I asked the worker standing there if she would move the shelf over for me because, again, I did not want to touch anything in the shop out of respect for them. I heard her sigh and she pushed it out of the way.The two girls were extremely nice. The others were not particularly rude or mean, but they weren't welcoming or kind, either. I really felt like a burden when I was just trying to be kind as I walked out of the door. Times like now, we should all be extra kind and welcoming to the people that want our business.Thank you to Caylah and Susan for making my experiences great and comfortable!”
