Disappointed with my shopping trip today. Have not the employees been trained in social distancing? Several times when I was attempting to get through an isle or find an item to purchase the employee was in the way and made no effort to move. There were 3 employees in a the small area where I was attempting to purchase a towel rack. They were just visiting and ignored my attempts to shop. Same with the garden area. I will not return while our MN social distancing orders are in effect. Menards is doing a great job at social distancing and they care enough about their staff to provide them with masks and gloves.

What's the point of having a brick and mortar physical store and then hire and not train your sales force...definitely far from knowledgeable and didn't know the products in their own department.

Terrible customer service.. We were waiting 30 minutes just watching 2 clerks working at the appliance service desk chatting, paying no attention to nobody at all. Never shop here again. Just a waste of time

We were getting our floors done in the basement and thought Lowe's was the answer, it sadly have been the worst jobs I have had people hired for. Firstly there estimated time for getting the supplies for flooring was 2 week later. Then when we finally got the materials when we scheduled the installation the week later, they cut corners and made the floors with gaps. The worker kept asking what was suppose to be done like they were not informed about what the contracted job was for. The the end of the first day I asked them why the baseboard and floors have a massive gap. They asked if they were suppose to do it. I showed them the forms what we paid for and then they said they don't have the materials for it. So for the last month and a half we have been waiting for them to finish the job. We have called Lowe's several time and the workers say they don't know and the flooring employee can help and they have been difficult and kept saying it'll be solved in a week but it has been over a month. What happens a few days ago was we got a call that the worker are coming back but Lowe's never sent the additional materials. The worker came in, got the floors dirty with dirt and dust and just left again. What's even worse was Lowe's made us pay before the job was even done, like get the job done then make people pay.

this lowes has downgraded throughout the years -- the employees are so rude and "useless". i was here weeks back to use my mom's lowes credit card to buy painting stuff for our walls. she made me go buy them. she was fully aware. she thought she didn't need to come to vertify it was herself but that was my fault. first off, no one helped me nor greeted me -- i might be sounding like a B but customers ur first priority for them to feel welcome'd & if they need any help. second, asking questions to the lady in the paint section was not helpful and had a nasty attitude. third, the amount of employees yall have doing nothing..... crazy lol! and when my card did not work... i was left feeling stupid afterwards. they didn't want to help me figure out why the card didn't work, so they put my cart aside and had to come later with my mom. but later, i learned that it wasn't activated so this part of the experience was my fault too. i hope you guys have better employees that are much nicer and trained about what lowes represents as a company. cuz this is so embarrassing lol...

If I can give this store a NEGATIVE 5 stars, I would! I have been waiting on a water heater for over three weeks, the first day they were supposed to deliver it, they left me hanging ALL day and did not call to let me know that it was not coming for another week. Then today, they left me hanging ALL day when it was supposed to be here by 1 p.m. - No call again, I had to call them. I have things to do, and it's not to waste my day chasing Lowes around to tell me where my order is. I absolutely cannot believe this s*** show. Twenty-five years later and I am done with Lowes! Home Depot and Menards is a million times better and communicates with their customers. They treat me with respect, value my time, and appreciates my business!!

WOW!! Sales guy yelled at me, while seated comfortably at his desk, if I needed help looking at a door. When he did finally get up, since I was the one disturbing him, he stood like 10 feet away from us not ever engaging us in our questions FOR HIM. Get a new job sir, cuz you suck at this one. Wont shop lowes again!

I bought a washer and dryer from Lowe's in Shakopee. Here are the facts of my experience to help you decide if you want to spend your money and time at this store. The guy who initially rang up our purchase in the appliance department clearly didn't know what he was doing and took almost a full HOUR to check us out. It should have taken 10 minutes. There was a manager (or at least an employee who seemed to know how to do their job) next to him, who helped a little while she took care of another customer, but then instead of taking over when he was clearly struggling, she moved on to another customer while we continued to wait. Washer and dryer were supposed to be delivered that Friday. Never got a call for a time frame, so I called and was told 8am-12pm delivery window. By 11AM Friday, no word, so I called and was told they were backed up and the washer wouldn't be delivered until "sometime after 12pm" and that the dryer was still in the store marked for PICK-UP! Why would they think I wanted the washer delivered and to pick up the dryer?? I called and rescheduled delivery on both appliances to the same day (Saturday a week later). Again, no call for the delivery window, so I had to call them. Finally, washer and dryer are delivered but I get a call later that they forgot the dryer installation kit which I needed for installation on that Monday (a separate service). They were going to deliver the kit Sunday. Never delivered. So I had to call and cancel the installation and reschedule once again after the installer could pick up the kit. I called customer service and spoke to Shauna who acted like I was inconveniencing HER, never once apologized for the poor service or inconvenience and gave ME attitude! When she asked me what I wanted her to do, I said "I want you to personally make sure the installer arrives with the kit when he comes". Installer arrives. No kit. No one had communicated with him that he was to pick it up despite my phone call. Luckily he dug around in his truck and found an old, crushed box that held the parts he needed so he was able to do the install (Thank you, Matt!). I am confounded by the terrible service at Lowe's Shakopee from start to finish with my purchase. The only helpful people were Matt the installer and Shane in deliveries who credited me $100 when they screwed up the delivery the first time. I have been a loyal Lowe's customer for many years but this store makes me want to go to Home Depot from now on.

Lowe's is my favorite of the local "Big Box" stores. They have the best customer service and workers willing to help with questions, helping you find things and the like as compared to Home Depot or Menards. I rate Home Depot in the middle and Menards the worst for getting help in the store. Good selection and prices are competitive, but the customer service is what stands out at this store to me.

I purchased a significant amount of tile to do our entire basement. In speaking with the sales associate I wanted to confirm my measurements and how much I would need to complete the project. He calculated three boxes fewer than what I had estimated. I questioned this and was told that the mfg had 60,000 showing in stock and if I was a little short that there would be plenty to finish the job. (I was two boxes short to complete the project with no errors made to account for the shortage). I must make mention that there was no one available to help me load the product from the cart into my vehicle either. After three grueling days of tearing out carpet and laying the tile, only to realize I was short the product required to complete the project, I went to get the boxes I was short and "IT WAS OUT OF STOCK". I could not be given a day or time in which they would return to stock. Home Depot doesn't carry this particular tile so I am left hunting down another Lowe's that has what I need. Step it up.... this is one of three poor experiences in a row that I have had with this location, which prompted this review. I won't continue to shop where the buying process becomes more of a burden than the home projects.
