Highly recommend this company, Kerry was great to work with, got everything set up and scheduled no problem. Moving day could not have gone better with the crew he sent, these men were so wonderful to work with, easy going, and handled any setbacks with grace and a smile. I would hire them again in an instant.

We were impressed with the speed of the movers, but they were scheduled to start loading our stuff between 8:30 and 9 AM. We were called around 8:45 and told that their driver was sick so they were getting a driver from Faribault and would arrive as soon as possible. Around 10 AM, we were called telling us that the driver finally arrived and they'd be to our apartment between 10:15 and 10:30. They were leaving from their Mankato location which was only about 8 minutes from our apartment, but on the final bill, they started charging us from, apparently when the substitute driver left his home in Faribault, at 9 AM, (a full hour and 7 minutes before they all started the 8 minute drive from their Mankato location to our apartment.
When they arrived, the two movers worked rapidly to get our stuff loaded, but when they said their truck was full, our apartment still had a 20-foot Uhaul truck full of our property that they were supposed to have moved, and had they bothered to stack the boxes in their truck, they could have easily gotten everything of ours in their truck with room to spare!
At our house in Lakefield, after they had all they claimed their truck could hold unloaded, we noticed that they had damaged our TV stand with fireplace, and when we pointed that out, they claimed that we would be compensated for the property damage, which was never compensated!
Then, when we were in the process of moving what they just dropped wherever it fit instead of putting it where we told them to put it, we found our over 13-foot long tension curtain rod broken!
Our total expenses for our moving ended up costing us the 2.2k paid to Mankato Movers, + $140 for the Uhaul truck, $300 paid to the person we hired to load and unload the Uhaul, almost $80 for gas burned in the Uhaul, and another tank of gas for my car to drive the extra trip from Lakefield to Mankato and back!
The movers said they were already booked for the next few days, which is why we couldn't have them finish the move and were forced to get the Uhaul to finish the move before our apartment vacating deadline.
We finally got everything that was delivered put away and we are missing several things that the crew loaded onto your truck, but apparently never got removed from your truck at our house!
We have a broken TV stand and curtain rod, and several of our desk lamps are completely missing, appearing to have been loaded onto your truck at our apartment, but never got taken off your truck at our house, or maybe like the broken curtain rod and our TV trays that they put in our garage instead of the house. Maybe our desk lamps will be found hiding in the garage or somewhere else where they shouldn't have been put.

Huge shoutout to Mankato movers and their crew Madison, Steven, and Mike. They did a wonderful job moving me into my new apartment. I appreciate how efficiently they worked and they were very friendly. Will definitely use their services in the future.

We really had their work cut out for the two guys that helped us out. We moved from central Washington with the bulk of our belongings in two U-Boxes (pods). We had thirty-two, 60-80lbs totes that they had to move to our third floor apartment without an elevator. They still did this all with a smile. They maintained a friendly and professional demeanor throughout the three hour process and handled each individual item of ours gingerly with care. The price was phenomenal, especially for the love of ease it brought to our minds. Thank you gentlemen, it sure was a pleasure doing business with you!

A huge thank you to Sorensen's and the moving team of Steven, Madison, and Chris. They completed a move with multiple stops, lots of delicate and heavy antiques - including a piano, a set of steep and narrow stairs, and did it all with absolute buckets of rain pouring down on them. They were efficient, careful, and the most pleasant and accomodating young men one could ask for. I shall be asking for them again for the next phase of my move.
I'm also very appreciative of Sorenson's clear and transparent pricing and the ease of booking. No silly work sheets to complete or counting boxes. And Kerry got me into an opening within days of my call.

They got the job done but there were issues. Initial contact was made through their website form. I received a reply within minutes and was impressed with that. A few back and forths, I asked to book a date. Then there was some confusion around and email address. I was told I had to send all the info again to a different @gmail address. All the initial conversations were with the @mankatomovers email that came back from my initial form inquiry. I was a bit dismayed at that. Then moving day came. I had been told multiple times they would leave their shop at 8am on moving day. They should have easily arrived by 8:30. When no one was there at 8:40, I called. I was told a ridiculous story about why they weren't there. And had that reason been true, they would have arrived within minutes. But they didn't arrive until 10 am. When they arrived, I asked outright about what I was told and received confirmation it was not true. The guys had to spend a lot of time figuring how to pack the truck because they had to put the large ramp back in the truck with our stuff when normally it should slide under the truck. Apparently that storage area for the ramp on the truck was broken. So even though the truck had plenty of space for our belongings, it was an issue and we ended up calling a family member with a truck to transport some items. The movers were professional and polite and worked hard. Two items were damaged in the move, one of them an irreplaceable antique. Based on the experience, I'd try another company if I had to move again.

I would definitely recommend them, and I would hire them again. I had a unique and urgent situation when I needed a piano moved. They were accommodating and efficient. The movers were polite, friendly, respectful, prepared, and able to complete the job within the estimated time. They came equipped with all the tools that they needed for a successful and efficient job.

I was very impressed with Mankato movers communication from the start; it was prompt and detailed. They even made it work to switch my move day a week earlier with just a few days notice.
If you get the opportunity to work with Michael, he is the star of the show. Very hard worker, kind and meticulous. He is a great crew member.
There were a few hiccups, but when I addressed this with Kerry afterwards, he was incredibly understanding and made me feel heard. We were able to come to an agreement. It’s important to remember we are human, and the way a company handles issues speaks volumes. I would hire them again.
