I don’t think I have ever had better ice cream in my life. I had the kitty kitty bang bang and it was to die for, my wife had the mint chocolate chip and couldn’t get enough. We also bought a various assortment of chocolates and candies, all homemade and they were all amazing.

This candy shop is a gem...an absolute gem.
It's in a very cute town that oozes charm. The chocolates are delicious. My particular favorites were the hand-dipped potato chips. I also loved the lemon creams and chocolate dipped orange peel.
They are a small operation and it's fun to see the activity in the candy kitchen. I will definitely be back.

The Chocolate Shoppe in Mantorville is my go-to place for gift giving! It's a family owned business where the owners are on site. One remarkable fact is the chocolates are fresh made daily with no preservatives! They ship and can deliver with door dash locally. Every order I place must have the mint meltaways!!! Try them yourself

We received a box of chocolates from here for Christmas. They were so good that I had to stop in when I was in Rochester. The population of Mantorville is 1,111. I stopped in on a Saturday and the small shop area was packed with people and SRO. The one thing that really surprised me was that they don't have any pre-made boxes of chocolates. Maybe they sold out. So I selected from the two chocolate cases. And opened the box in the car because you have to try the chocolates on the long drive home. Great chocolate that tastes excellent. The truffles are very pretty too.

Amazing service and everything I have tried which is most of it. Is excellent! Chocolate covered chips are my favorite along with the caramel rolls.

It's a drive to get their almost 40 miles one way. But the wife said the fudge is to die for.

This shop has always been a treat. The caramel apples, truffles, chocolate cherries, ice cream, maple fluffs, and mints have always been wonderful.This last time was different though. The chocolate cherries were leaking in the bag and the cherries didn't seem to be fully ripe. Still completely delicious but the entire 1/2lb had to be eaten immediately. I didn't try my assorted pound of truffles until home the next day. Over the last few days I've tried each and every one thinking it must just be a fluke but each tasted off. The flavors didn't come out like they used to-champagne, rum, bourbon, coffee, mint, chocolate- these were bitter and heavy on the alcohol but also overpowering. The bourbon has always been my favorite to melt away in my mouth but it was unbearable. The coffee wasn't coffee at all and then the chocolate in each was grainy. Mint was closest to what it should be. I don't know if the chocolate was tempered wrong or if they were old or maybe they froze in my cooler.I'll be back though!
