I take my 11yo daughter here often as she LOVES books. At one point today she had 24 books she was trying to narrow down to 2…. There’s always such a great selection for kids her age!! We found a sitting area and I sat there as she looked around. Melody helped us at chechout and told us about the rewards program which we signed up for. Love how helpful and friendly everyone is.

I came here a few days ago with my boyfriend on a fun date night which turned even better thanks to the environment and AMAZING staff(and of course the Starbucks located right inside,, big plus). The atmosphere is calm and very ambient all the while being so organized and FILLED to the brim with both classic reads and more popular reads as well! I had no trouble finding my favorite selections in literature both due to the organization and a very nice older gentleman who went out of his way to find a book series i had been looking for. I’d especially love to give a big shout out to Dylan whose presence was absolutely amazing. Her personality was vibrant, welcoming, and most definitely helpful. My boyfriend and I agreed that her service made the trip absolutely much better! Thanks to Dylan and the lovely environment, I’m definitely coming back more often to not only enjoy my time but to break the bank with more book purchases lol! Would recommend this store to anyone looking for a great way to spend their day while being serviced by great staff who love their jobs. :))

Every book reader's dream place! Books on every topic you could imagine in a place that is very well organized, very clean, and very inviting. There is a coffee Nook to sit and share coffee with your friends, or for just taking a quiet moment out of your day. Lots of parking available.

For the most part have had positive experiences at the Maple Grove Barnes and Noble but recently that has changed. While Barnes and Noble can be family friendly it has not been baby/toddler friendly for our last couple of encounters. My friend and I used to go once a week at least with our kids, buy things at the cafe and store, enjoy the books, and time with our kids. The first issue was on a Sunday, the store closes at 7. Five minutes to 7 pm my friend and I were packing up and getting our kids coats on when a employee came over glared at us and then said we needed to leave as they closed in 3 minutes, then looked at her watch and said actually 1 minute. We were obviously on the way to the door, we just said we are aware thank you. The employee stood there as we were zipping our kids coats...we were also not the only customers in the store yet were the only ones being told to leave. We got to the door and our stroller sets off the alarm every time, the other employees know this and just wave and smile when we leave because they know it happens upon entry and exit at their store. This particular employee comes running over and jumps literally in front of the strollers, at the same time a couple was entering the store. She gets right between the stroller, the door, and this couple entering and starts waving her hand in their face telling them they are closed. She did not say oh thanks for coming but we are closed, we would love to have you back...rather waving her hand in their faces and was extremely rude. She got after us to leave, as we do jumps in front of us and then proceeds to follow us out the door and lock it behind us. The poor couple coming in was so confused and look horrified at this employee, they walked out of course in front of us and were upset with the interaction as well. The second issue I had was with Jean after I quickly and discreetly changed my daughters diaper (just wet) on my own jacket behind my stroller. She came over very aggressive and told me to never do that again, my friend that was with me inquired as to why since I was flabbergasted at how she spoke to me and the tone in her voice. She proceeded to raise her voice at us and tell us to use the restroom, we told her that it was not clean in the restroom (we took pictures before we left to show the manager). Jean made a scene in the store, frightened our kids, and told us we will not do that in her store...we said we would follow up with the manager as it was not a store policy. She walked away saying please do very loudly. After she proceeded over to two other co workers and loudly was telling them her story causing yet another scene and the co workers looking at us as we were packing up to leave. My friend and I have never experienced someone telling us where to change our children, talk down to us in front of our kids that way, and raise their voice at us causing a scene. It would have been one thing if she politely and quietly came over to us and said something like hey I really prefer you do not change your child here as it's a store policy (even though it's not)...something kind but she chose to circle around us and come at us very aggressive and rude. I do appreciate the store associate Michael as he was kind as we spoke to him on the way out and Chad (as a parent himself) understood where my friend I were coming from. Chad did say they will be doing training after the first of the year on how to treat customers, approach, and going over actual policies. While I appreciate Chad trying I did let him know that I was unsure if we would be back after having two encounters with staff so close together. We do not let our kids be loud, pick up after them, make purchases, and have built rapport with other staff members.

This store has a good selection and an incredible staff! One worker named Mac put in a lot of work to help me find the last book I needed for my christmas shopping. He was also very excited with me when he was able to find it! The cashier Abbey was also really patient and kind as she rung me up. And kudos to the rest of the staff I didn't interact with personally!

Was very busy today, but the staff were super friendly and helpful. I wasn't able to find what I wanted, but the staff tried everything and even brought in a second person to help look.

Always helpful personnel to help you find what you are looking for. Stock was quite low on paper theater, sadly. The frames were also limited availability. I did actually score the last two on the shelf tho?

As always, no matter how hectic life is, and no matter how busy the shopping season, Barnes & Noble imbues a sense of peace and calm, just walking through the doors. It may have to do with the fact that I am a bookworm, and feel so enthralled with the plethora of varied reading material, but the feeling of warm welcome and relaxed browsing draws me back time and time again!

Great store and atmosphere. Perfect place to find a good read on just about any topic. The Starbucks is also an amazing place to go and meet friends for a book club or small group. Most of Christmas shopping I did here and I know my kids will love what we found for them ?
