Tonight I brought my daughter for her birthday and it was the worst. I have been here 2 times before and it was absolutely fantastic this time it was horrible. The chef had no personality and I just left feeling ripped off of the experience. The waitress was really nice. The bathrooms were disgusting. Overall we probably will not be going back because we spent alot and just not interested in spending my money there. Steaks are cut up by the chef and that really sucks too.

Had dinner at Benihanas tonight after my son’s choir concert. Literally had the best shrimp I’ve ever had tonight! We apparently had the head chef cooking for us and it was absolutely delicious!!

Great place, put off by how long it took to get a table even with reservations but otherwise amazingly done!

The take out is absolutely awful. Total scam and waste of money. I took the order to go, and it was a complete let down.

Our chef Mayra was a delight, she even did tricks I've not seen before which was nice to watch and the food was flavorful!. Our busboy Uriel was super charismatic and had a great personality! Thank you for making our date night, one to remember.

Came a few weeks ago for my birthday and had a reservation for 1:15. Nobody else came for that time frame so I expected after 5-10 mins we would just get our own.Once we waited a while I for fired they were pushing us back to try and seat us with others. Got sat at the table around 1:22 and didn’t order till 1:39.I wouldn’t have had a problem if it was communicated but we were just ignored for the gap period. Most important part tho - food was great. Server was quick and accurate. Chef was very skilled and entertaining. We made a reservation for a few days later but after first experience just went somewhere else.Got an email the day after and said (save $30) off your birthday. Clicked and it’s just a link to make a new reservation.Lastly my guest was gluten free and thought that there was gluten in the fried onions from the soup.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is a possibility but make sure your ask.

Dined in the restaurant tonight with my dad to celebrate my birthday and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We come to this restaurant four times a year and we have never had an experience like this in all the time we have been dining here. To start, once we seated and ordered we did not any staff over for twenty minutes at a time. We do 100% believe they were understaffed but it was a little shocking how long we went before we got a chef. We didn’t get a chef until almost an hour into being there and the rest of the table was also very confused by this as well. The meal itself was another problem. It felt like the chef did not want to be there at all and was in a hurry to get it done. The showmanship you usually get with the Benihana experience was not there in the slightest, it felt tense the entirety of the meal. Dropped a tool on the floor and used the salt shaker bottom in the food to squish it. The steaks, salmon and tuna were all squished on the stove, especially the salmon which was squished within an inch of its life. Food sections (like the zucchini /onions and similar steaks) were mixed together and were not portioned equally between guests, the people on one side got a ton compared to the people on the others and this followed through to the rice. The rice was tossed everywhere, it was tossed onto the table and guests and onto the floor. There was rice everywhere with how he had tried to mix it together. The middle section of the meal also had burned pieces of food that is usually found on the very edge of the grill that hadn’t been cleaned or moved found in the fresh food. The steaks were also not cooked to order at all. My father and I got the same entree steaks, his medium and mine medium rare, and they came out rare. Shrimps were cooked on raw chicken. The scallops were overcooked on one side and the chef made no correction to this and when he moved the scallops around he did not flip them and cooked them where the salmon had been so the scallops tasted like salmon. It was an incredibly disappointing meal for $100 a person. The restaurant itself was gross. The floors were covered in food and the men’s bathroom urine soaked. I don’t think we will be coming back again.
