Tires I had installed are of high quality. The installation though is half ass. They don't torque rims to spec.. I have had a vibration ever since getting tires installed here.. Took off myself and the nuts were all torqued different from 110lbs to 70lbs. After I torqued Al my rims myself the vibration is gone. It's hard to trust a tire place that doesn't actually take the time to do quality work. Luckily my roters didn't warp in the time before I could fix myself.

Review of Costco Tire Center - Maple Grove
I had an extremely frustrating experience at the Costco Tire Center in Maple Grove, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I initially chose Costco for tire installation due to their reputation for efficiency and quality service. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite.
The ordeal began with an excruciatingly long wait. Despite being assured that the installation would take no more than 1.5 hours, I ended up waiting for 2.5 hours with my young child in tow. This unnecessary delay was not only inconvenient but also incredibly stressful, especially when managing a restless child in such an environment.
The nightmare didn’t end there. After finally getting my tires installed, I discovered that the job wasn’t done correctly. I ended up with a flat tire soon after, forcing me to return to the center. I called ahead to check if I could come in as a walk-in, and they assured me it would be fine. However, upon arriving, I was met with a dismissive attitude from the manager, who curtly informed me that they were full and couldn’t accommodate me.
The lack of accountability and poor communication at this location is unacceptable. Not only did they fail to provide the promised service in a timely manner, but they also neglected to ensure the job was done properly, causing additional inconvenience and frustration.
I expected better from Costco. This experience has left me questioning their commitment to customer service and quality. I would not recommend the Maple Grove Tire Center to anyone looking for reliable and efficient service.

My experiences with this Tire Center have been exceptional. Part of that may be due to my time expectations as a customer coming to a very busy location. Had a slow leak and called for appointment same day - it was afternoon. No guarantee but we could stop by. We waited over two hours and the tire was repaired and I was extremely grateful to they worked us in as we were able to make the 30 minute drive home safely. A few days later it seemed my other tire was leaking and as I got the TPMS low pressure warning. First thing in morning I called for appointment. It would be a late afternoon time. Luckily I could drop off my car by 10 am. They called by 11:30 am to say it was done! No leak, which was shock to me, so they checked all tired and filled them up. No charge.
I read a ton of reviews for other businesses that service tires. Seems you can't entrust your car to most busineses which is sad. But I will bring my car to this location even though it is a drive for me and it is busy.
Here is why: 1. All staff have photos posted with their certifications and years of service - very important. I would rather bring my car to a place where professionals work on your tires. 2. $15 to patch a tire is really reasonable - thank you Costco - membership has its perks. 3. Everyone I encountered was very respectful and seemed to care about doing a good job.
Thank you to Carter and others who worked on my car. I appreciate not only what you do but that you do it with integrity.
PS - Costco, please consider having access to the tire center without having to go through the store! And for exiting. You still have to show membership at check in and when paying.

So thankful for the quick response and clear solution when a tire on our vehicle that was an hour away from home blew out. Andy confirmed a replacement tire was in stock and held it until we could pick it up. He explained what we needed to do to claim the warranty on the old tire. Great customer service experience.

Despite my initial mistake in selecting the wrong tires online, Andy provided exceptional service by personally sourcing the correct ones from another location. The team maintained excellent communication throughout the process, providing prompt updates. Andy went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met.

We get our tires at Costco and have been for years. The selection is great, and the prices, plus my husband and I love the service for the tires. Free rotation and just all around has been a good experience for us. This year we needed new tires and since my husband has to drive in all the snow to go to work and keep the streets clean for others to be able to get out and drive on, we need tires to get through the Minnesota snows. I want my hubby safe while he drives in the winter, especially in the snowstorms and slush like we just had on October 31. Andy W. at Maple Grove helped in our selection, a new brand for us but rated better for snow. He explained the options to me, and provided the costs for both brands so I could make the best choice. I am grateful for the Costco Tire Center and for Andy and other staff like him. You could tell he enjoyed helping people.

I purchased my tires here 2 years ago. Yes, they offer complimentary tire rotations. However, scheduling an appointment by phone took 20 calls until someone answered. When I did schedule an appt 2 weeks in advance, I then waited 3 hours before the service was completed. Tire rotation x 3 hours??? The staff were friendly but obviously they are slow or need to hire additional employees. I will NOT be purchasing my next set of tires at Costco Tire Center. Have had better service at Tires Plus and Discount Tires.

Costco tire center Maple Grove may not be the best choice for tires or service. I purchased the best most reliable tires available for my Mazda Miata, so this was expensive from the start. And it just kept getting worse. Tire pressure sensor issues started it off with several visits to the tire center. Every time I went to drive the car one or more of the tires was flat. After several attempts to fix the problem I just started airing up every time I drove the car. Several times the car needed to be flatbeded home due to flat tires. For two years the tires ruined or disrupted every trip. Soon I just stopped driving the car. On a beautiful day in June, I put air in the tires, and went out to dinner only to exit the restaurant to find yet another flat tire. Once again car was put on a flatbed truck. I jacked up the car, removed the tire and returned to Costco yet again. Costco patched the tire. I reinstalled the tire moved the car into the garage. Two months later, I noticed another flat tire. the car had not moved,Once again I removed the tire and took it to Costco. I was then told that the tire had sidewall damage a could not be repaired and I needed to buy 4 new tires. 2 years, 2 tows, 2000 miles, 4 new tires and more than 2 thousand dollars later I found a new tire store closer to home.

Don't waste your time. Go anywhere other than here. 3 hours to change 2 tires is insane. And if you knew it was going to take longer, why not tell the customer ahead of time. My appointment was at 6:15, my truck wasn't pulled in until after 7:00. I will highly recommend people go elsewhere. They are turning off the lights in costco as I write this and I still do not have my vehicle back.

I needed 2 trailer tires. Went to Fleet Farm and they had a 4 day wait. Costco was half the price and got it done in an hour. Top notch service.

Costco Tire Dept of Maple Grove is the place to go If you need tires. This is my second tire purchase at this location, and I am very pleased.1st set of tires was for my truck and one set of tires for my car. Andy & Jacob both helped me. Andy was great, he answered all of my questions and helped me in selecting the best fit for my car. Great guy. Jacob helped me when I picked up my car, he went over my paperwork and explained the roadside assistance and warranties that came with my new tires… very helpful and knowledgeable! My experience with Costco Maplegrove TIRE DEPT. was excellent and I can highly recommend you use this location for your next tire purchase.

Went to get my tires rotated today. When I arrived Andy got me check in and was very friendly. They called me after it was done. When I returned, Andy greeted me & told me what they found and repaired during my appointment. Tire rotation is never something I look forward to but they made it easy.

Jose from the Tire Center was phenomenal. I came in after getting a flat tire. They didn’t have my tire in stock and rather than try to sell me something that wasn’t a good fit, Jose educated me on my AWD system and tires. I went somewhere else after and I felt like the other tire place was taking advantage of me, but I was able to use Jose’s advice to avoid it. I really appreciate his honesty and expertise. We will only go to Costco Tire from now on for our future planned needs!

Stopped in yesterday to do my Costco run last night after work, and even though I didn't have an appointment for a tire rotation, figured I would check and see if they could fit me in. Andy was SUPER helpful - fast, professional, got me in and out before closing and was just super friendly. Employees like Andy are why I trust Costco and don't feel a need to price shop, they are fair and do what they say they will do. Thanks Andy for making my week just a little bit better!

Multiple levels of incompetence at this Costco Tire Center location that resulted in vehicle damage. I had my tires installed at another Costco location and this was my first rotation. The first incompetence occurred when I was checking in, the lady at the desk did not know how to properly note the proper rotation order with a stare tire. Second, even after looking at the shop manual, the tires were improperly rotated despite having marked the tires before bring the vehicle in. Third, ignoring the shop's lift manual, my 4.5 ton van was lifted on it's pinch welds flattening part of the weld and taking paint off another spot. The shop manager denied any wrong doing until I called him out on not knowing the proper lift location for the vehicle even though it is clearly marked in the manual for the shop and the vehicle's manual. All I got after that was an apology and a we'll do better next time. Completely disappointing of Costco to has this level of incompetence.
