Horrible service. I have a service animal and the white haired white lady told me that I can’t have dog in the store. I asked her for the sign. She said we don’t have a sign. I asked her how do you know I he’s not a service animal. She looked me up and down put her hands on has hips and laughed while saying what DISABILITY do you have? I told her she’s not allowed to ask that. She said yes I can. I can ask what I want. Then she told me how do I sleep at night knowing I lie about my dog.
Well she discriminated against me and called me a liar all while violating the law. I went to get my phone and read her a version of the following from the ADA. Staff/businesses cannot ask about the person’s disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task. Service animals do not have to wear a vest or patch or special harness identifying them as service animal.
She proceeded to walk away because she didn’t want to hear it and knew she was wrong.
You can’t identify disabilities by looking at someone. It’s not her job as a Karen employee to police mine. Dollar Tree do better.
I don’t recommend this store as especially if you are disabled.

I was there yesterday about 130/2pm and when I got to register Barb was the only person ringing people out there was another worker standing behind 2nd register but not ringing, she actually looked more corporate. Within the time I was there 3 people came up behind me while manager came into store and two or three men who were unloading in back also came up front. Clearly they could all see the line forming but just talked and laughed away even when Barb got on loud speaker asking for back up cashier they all ignored the request. I had a very good experience with Barb she kept ringing and remained friendly even though it was probably hard, I felt so bad for her. I was just blown away because I worked at the other Maple Grove location and even with 2 people working we never did anything like that to workers or customers. Do they not care about either? Sometimes what was expected of us when we get to work can change a little and in this case jumping on a register to help for a few minutes I'm sure would be ok with company.

I have only made a handful of reviews in my entire life but my visit tonight to this Dollar Tree was unbelievable. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by two employees, in front of other customers, for simply just wanting to exchange a few items. The cashier and her manager were incredibly disrespectful and they acted as if my exchanging of 5 items was the worst possible thing I could do to them. These items were bought only a few weeks ago, never used and still in season.I work retail - the amount of attitude radiating from these women for literally a simple exchange of 5 items (all items i saw displayed on the sales floor) was SO inappropriate…. my boyfriend and I walked out of that store speechless.Ya’ll need to take a moment and realize that it takes a lot more energy to be disrespectful for no reason than it does to be kind. Who told you ladies you should work in retail?!

The check out lady was nice. But. . Phil tgd manager. . Not. They did not stand behind candles mis priced. Inside "the dollar tree " i literally decided after his unwillingness to stand behind a misplaced product labeled 1.25 ...Cleary able to see i had hundreds of items. . I cut my sale from @$250 to 120. Irritated beyond belief as i just spent more than they probably got in one sale in a week and NEVER HAVE had this type of customer service disrespect at any store let alone the dollar tree. Phil cost his company $150 to save $3. He was rude also.

Did not take their carts in causing one to hit my truck resulting in a large dent and when asked about why them said “we tell people to bring them in” Aka they do not care do not go here bad customer service

Racist. Lazy. Unprofessional. They are pretty awful. They are disrespectful if you aren't white.I saw one of the cashiers putting cash in her pocket instead of the till.
