Oh my goodness, seriously had the best first experience at Elev8 Salon with Carrie! I have jet black hair. Many stylists don't like to work with black hair. I came in looking for a change and wanted something beautiful and a noticeable change. I didn't come with any inspiration photo but after explaining my needs she did her magic! I am so pleased with the outcome, it's phenomenal! I also did a consult for a halo hair piece and look forward to booking that service with her. Carrie thank you so much for a wonderful experience! Will definitely be back!

I saw Carrie for my two color split. It was a completely different style than I have ever done. She completely nailed it!! With my hair already having previous color it was a little
bit more difficult but Carrie took her time and explained to me as she went. Not only did my hair turn out better then I had imagined but Carrie also was such a delight to chat with! I definitely recommend others to set up a hair appointment and learn more about her Halo product on her website!

I didn’t know exactly how to word what I wanted done for my haircut. I did my best to describe what it was I wanted and she KILLED it!!!! This is by far my most favorite haircut I’ve received so far. I will absolutely be back. Bonus, she’s super fun to talk to! Highly recommend!!!!! ☺️

Stylist (it's her salon. She is only stylist there) majorly complained about her back and shoulder throughout my hair coloring, which made it awkward. I felt like she didn't really want to be there doing my hair, which is a terrible feeling when you're already stuck there.
She literally bent over grimacing at one point as if she had appendicitis or something. I'm a nurse so was worried. She said she's always like this.. from shoulder and back pain.
She kept complaining about the amount of hair I have, though I told her and sent her a photo of myself prior to appointment. Was worried about running out of color... then I shouldn't be getting colored! (Which I had said would be okay with me in the beginning because of the price point I wanted to stay under.)
I told her that I love my wild mane, it's me.
I wanted my split ends cut off, maybe 3-4 inches I specified. She cut off 7-8 inches) ? Doesn't even feel like my hair. ?
Immediately when I had arrived I told her I wanted to stay under a certain dollar amount, I stressed that. I said even if that only gets me just a hair cut that's fine.
She told me I could get colored and cut.
Then at the end she told me I owed her almost double that amount. I was shocked.
She knows what she's doing with coloring. So it's too bad so many other things went wrong.

Carrie is the absolute best! So personable and knowledgeable! She is honest and will make you feel like you are just having a girls day every time you go in! It’s so much fun to be her client! Her work is unmatched. There was something I needed fixed and she had no problem getting me in to touch it up!

Carrie is hands down an amazing hair stylist to work with. I have baby fine hair and thinning all over. Carrie is a miracle worker!! She is incredibly talented at hair design and color. She is kind, patient, and thoughtful through the entire process and gives the BEST massaging shampoo. I hesitate to give this amazing review because I want to be able to get into her again!! I walked in with tired, limp locks that had not been touched in months and not exactly sure what I wanted, but I knew a few things I didn't want.
