Very poor customer service. The employees can go and take care of someone else in a middle of unloading process. That is not correct. Please finish unloading the cargo once u started doing it. Only then you may go to and load/unload someone else. That is fair I guess.

Our local store was out of what we needed. So we called here, and Annette got us what we needed as well as doible checked stock. So a 4 hour drive, and we got what we needed.
It was all pulled and ready for loading. Very smooth experience.

I called Floor & Decor in Maple Grove to acquire information about LVP products they sell and whoever I spoke with was incompetent. I asked him basic questions about the wear layer and how their "Techtanium Plus" wear layer translates to wear layer thickness in millimeters, he was not able to give me a direct answer. He also had no knowledge on the type of "core" each LVP I acquired about.
Worst of all, he said he would look into my questions and he would call me back in a few minutes, I never received a call.

The place is incredible.. so much to see and there is something in every price range.. bought laminate flooring for the "tiny house " we're building and picked out tile for the bathroom and entry and tile for the "fireplace" ( pellet stove and mantel) surround..

They sell you defective products knowingly and never take responsibility for it later . Crooked company .
The vinyl floor brands that are being sold at their store is straight garbage. I got NuCore installed and it got separated two month later . I hired different installer for installing the rest of it and he said that he ain’t even going to touch it how bad this floor is , locking system brakes , planks don’t stay together . After calling the store we found out that this floor was discontinued, well for obvious reason , and their pro Josh from maple grove MN store came over the next day to “inspect” the floor claiming that he is there to help cause he knows how bad this product is and that company will try to blame it on contractors and that he wants them to not only refund me for unused boxes even though it was more than 3 months since I bought it ( they have three months returning policy) but also refund me for floor planks that are already installed and not returnable and also reimbursed me for labor , just to shoot me an email 10 days later saying that after inspection he came to conclusion that contractors are the problem and all he can do is giving me store credit which is basically nothing cause what will I do with 3k of credit from the store I’ll never buy anything again .
Luckily everything was video and audio recorded when this pro Josh was at my place admitting how bad this floor is and that store is going to try and get away with it . After doing some research on NuCore product I found out that people all over the country been having issues with it and it’s going to be a class act lawsuit at some point , so I contacted that lawyer and submitted all the recordings.
Buy your product elsewhere.

A rather large warehouse store with lots of flooring, tiles, and other home improvement needs. Plenty of helpful staff, but only a minority have worked in remodeling or construction. Stephen, one of the sales staff, was very helpful and knowledgeable.
The primary reason I gave a four-star rating was due to a lack of available inventory of flooring. We had to go with our third-rated flooring choice due to no inventory either in-store or in their warehouse, despite their system showing sufficient product availability. Very disappointing.

UPDATE:A week or two after posting my original review, F&D posted a generic reply, asking me to contact them. Because I still need the flooring, that seemingly only they sell, I decided to take a chance. Unfortunately, that contact only resulted in yet another halfway gesture from another 'assistant manager' with no follow-up for weeks.Original Review:Inept sales, customer service and management. These people couldn't identify or locate a bamboo flooring product ON THEIR WEBSITE. I waited days of between phone and email responses, then weeks for a final answer that never happened. I had to call other stores around the country MYSELF to locate this item, despite numerous promises from at least 3 "assistant managers". Basically, they ignored me until I just gave up.

It's 11:45 am, Thursday. Phone ringing for 5 min nobody cares to pick up. Then just hangs up. I have been trying for days, every extension from product questions to the pros desk. Called Corporate, they're sorry, and suggest I drive 20 min for a 30 second conversation. They're happy to take your money and then disappear.

I haven't shopped here, but my school bus stop is in this parking lot, and theres two giant potholes there. I've fallen in one before can only imagine other people have. Would be great if those can get filled sometime.
