“Top tier range and store. I'd recommend them whole heartedly for the permit to carry classes. I went in with a lot of experience with firearms. Completed my classes online, and I was in and out of the store with my certificate in under an hour.
On the other hand, if you need to learn how to fire and you want in person lessons, they offer those too!”

The wavering process here is informative as it is equally intuitive with their video instructional/tutorial on how to be a safe shooter - as part of the waiver process! “Was in Maple Grove for a medical appointment with the wife when she said there was a guns and ammo shop nearby. The shop is tucked away between regular shopping stores. But once you enter, it’s very different and unique. Staff greeted us right away and also mentioned there were free drinks in the back. The back is also where they have their live range, didn’t get to check it out. Down Range has a very wide selection of products that most Twin Cities shops don’t carry. They also have a large selection of used firearms for a reasonable price. Overall, a good store for your tactical needs and range time. Also, only place I know so far that sells .50 Beowulf off the shelves. 5/5 Stars.”
