16445 County Rd 30, Maple Grove MN 55311
“Was in Maple Grove for a medical appointment with the wife when she said there was a guns and ammo shop nearby. The shop is tucked away between regular shopping stores. But once you enter, it’s very different and unique. Staff greeted us right away and also mentioned there were free drinks in the back. The back is also where they have their live range, didn’t get to check it out. Down Range has a very wide selection of products that most Twin Cities shops don’t carry. They also have a large selection of used firearms for a reasonable price. Overall, a good store for your tactical needs and range time. Also, only place I know so far that sells .50 Beowulf off the shelves. 5/5 Stars.”

“Top tier range and store. I'd recommend them whole heartedly for the permit to carry classes. I went in with a lot of experience with firearms. Completed my classes online, and I was in and out of the store with my certificate in under an hour. On the other hand, if you need to learn how to fire and you want in person lessons, they offer those too!”

“Nice shop. Very helpful staff. Did a transfer purchase and they had my background check done in a fraction of the time bigger stores had. 100% will do business here again.”

“My first time doing business with Greg and Fenix Firearms. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through everything without rushing. The process was straightforward. Great service—I’ll definitely be doing business with him again!”

“Great place to take grandkids for little or no cost. See the live fish area and real stuffed animal displays. We spent $5 for 3 to do the shooting gallery 6 times each.”

“I've been to countless gun ranges. Bill's Gun Shop & Range is by far the best in the Twin Cities for Beginners! For you noobs reading this, everyone needs to sign a waiver before they can pew-pew! The wavering process here is informative as it is equally intuitive with their video instructional/tutorial on how to be a safe shooter - as part of the waiver process! I found this procedure to be extremely effective and certainly lacking at other ranges within the twin Cities. Keep up the good work guys!”
