“NU has been fantastic since we signed up. Jen was helpful with all of my questions and the coaches are so great. I have seen tons of improvement in my little ninja and both kiddos love to go to the extra events.”

“It's a solid workout if you want to mix lifting with bodyweight exercises. The gym is clean and the trainers are energizing. I wish they could turn the lights down, it's really bright in there.”

“Check out Jazzercise Maple Grove! They have 27 classes every week either in studio or live stream online! I have been doing Jazzercise for about 30 years and it is a total body workout, the music is great and steps are easy to follow. I love that you can do high impact and/or low impact. Plus, they have the best instructors in the state! Check them out, you will not regret it!”

“I have been a member at OTF Maple Grove for over 3 years and it has changed the way I work out. I am not a huge fan of going to the gym but I have become consistent with my workouts thanks to OTF. It gives me enough variety to keep me interested but the structure remains the same which makes it easy to go to any gym across the country and know that to expect. I love that I’m in and out in an hour which is a huge plus for this busy mom.
I definitely recommend OTF and especially the Maple Grove, MN location!”

“Great dome with excellent lighting. Close parking is often full and you must walk through traffic to other parking. Warm-up area is small and interferes with joggers/walkers.”

“Good gym sleazy sales tactics. Good God just offer a flat monthly rate! No other complaints. Clean good equipment never busy. Great for any phase of your fitness journey. Price is a bit high vs planet fitness or other places but the equipment is better. I'm paying 58/mo”

“My experience has seen both professional and knowledgeable staff. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Their yoga and Pilates programs are amazing and the instructors, ones I have had, have been instrumental in helping with my rehab after surgery.”

“I've waited to write a review until I felt sure I've tried a bit of everything (except HIIT classes, not my thing). The space is great. It doesn't ever feel crowded, even when it is busy. The Functional Fitness area is really useful and I appreciate that so many people can be working out there without interruption from one another. There are plenty of cardio machines, as well as weight machines. I'm not much of a free weights person, but there are tons available. Locker room is fine, sauna awesome. The childcare, while not stellar, is good enough for my fairly independent 4yo. She definitely has a favorite care person there. I wish there were more physical activities in Kids Crunch, instead of a movie or show always being on. Even like a ten minute circuit kids could do each hour (frog jumps, bear crawl/walk, crabwalk, a few yoga poses, hop on one foot, etc) that is lead by one of the people there would be awesome just to get kids moving.Classes: I've been to the Ride (spinning or cycling depending on instructor), Zumba, Cardio Tai Boxing, Yoga Sculpt, one of the TRX classes, Belly, Butt, & Thighs, and Top it off. The instructors are pretty good and there will always be some that are better based on your own preferences. I haven't had any that I absolutely would not return to, which is a great sign.I hope the yoga offerings are expanded beyond Yoga Sculpt. I'd love a relaxing or stretching yoga class. I would also really like a bodyweight strength class. I understand wanting to use the equipment because it's a gym, but bodyweight offers its own benefits one can't otherwise get. I'm excited to try the Ultimate Dance Party.A lot of what reviewers have said about the cardio equipment is true. It is pretty basic, but workable.------Edit March 2024: I left Crunch and then returned. I now have a 2.5yo, who usually wants to go to the Kids Crunch. Still no organized or visibly offered physical activities there.I've found I really love the StrongHIIT classes and depending on the instructor, there is a variety (one instructor does it this way, another that way). I like the variety, and go 3-4 times per week, when able. There aren't kickboxing classes anymore, which I miss tremendously.I highly recommend the So you Think You Can't Dance class. It's really fun and body positive!”
