Don't apply here. It's not worth it.First off, both my husband and I applied here in the hopes of getting part time jobs so that we can start our business on the side. We both have a good deal of retail experience, but he actually worked at a Home Depot when he was in college. Guess which of us got not one, but two offers for an interview while the other got none? Me, the one who hasn't worked at Home Depot before. Why, because I'm female and they're trying to fill a quota? How come my husband hasn't gotten any offers?I decided to give it a shot anyway. The website said nothing about whether it was a full time job or not, so I assumed it could be either. They offered me a job that I hadn't applied for and that I know for a fact is one of the most stressful jobs you can get at this place. (Although apparently you usually need to have a lot of experience before working this job, which just reinforces my theory that they want me not because I'm good, but because of a quota. Guys need jobs too, you know!) When I said that I wasn't willing to work full time, it flat out refused me. No option to go back and change my choice, no option to talk to a human being about possible arrangements.Second job interview offer, I said yes to full time to see what happened. I was asked if I was willing to work for $17.50 an hour. No, I was not willing. I need to be making at least $18/hr in order to support us both. Every other job I've worked, I was given the option to haggle wage with my employer, and I thought that would be the case here as well. But again, (shocker) I was refused flat out.

We purchased doors for install. While we are happy with the purchase, we were not with the install process. We purchased doors in Mid July and doors were not actually installed until Mid October. We had to take off time from work THREE separate times. Once for measurements, 2nd for install which we were told measurements were incorrect, and then 3rd for actual install. We would not recommend and it was a highly stressful experience, and costly. We did not get compensated for the mistakes and lost time.

Waited 30 minutes in the return pick up order I’ll just to find out only half of my order has came in. Not sure why Home Depot online wants me to come twice for one order but it’s a huge waste of time. PS to be more than just one person working the returns

I recently bought a house near this Home Depot and I am extremely disappointed with my attempts to do business with them. I first paid for a floor measure and the third party service they use to do the measure expected us to allocate a whole day at the house until they showed up. I went to Lowe’s instead and made a sizable purchase.Then we started a kitchen design and paid for a kitchen measure. The interaction with the designer was frustrating as he didn’t listen and couldn’t seem to design what we wanted. He reached a point after about an hour where he was done and wouldn’t make anymore changes. Then he gave us no line item detail on quote - just a ballpark. Nevertheless, he then started calling regularly with ham-handed closing techniques. When we asked for the results of the measure THAT WE PAID he snippily told us it was Home Depot’s policy not to give the customer the measure unless they bought the kitchen cabinets from them. Needless to say we aren’t going to buy from them. We have no acceptable design and rhe designer refuses to address our concerns. I was not told that I would not get the results of the measure. I’m not asking for the design- just the measure thar I PAID FOR!We also had a problem with a washer and dryer purchase and installation. Home Depot turns the delivery and installation over to a third party who they have no control over. The crew tracked dirt over our brand new Lowes carpet and told us things that a plumber later confirmed were not accurate. The customer experience person did listen and take a number of steps to make the situation right. They openly complained about the problems with this 3rd party.Home Depot needs to treat customers with respect. We aren’t there for their convenience. It is hard to find someone in the store that isn’t obsessed with the fork lift. Admittedly it must be more fun than dealing with customers who they seem to ignore.When someone buys a house, they most likely will be spending a lot of time and money in a big box DIY store. Home Depot needs to focus on the real customer experience and understand what builds loyalty. Up until now I was a loyal Home Depot customer. I have now switched to Lowe’s based on these experiences.

He is working at 6 pm at the paint part(white and old man).I'm always ordered paint at homedepot.He gave me the worst experience since I visited here. He never accepted his fault, just saying customer fault. I hope they are changing to the other part. What a terrible service.

It's well stocked with all sorts of stuff for the home and garden. I got some flowers pots on sale really cheap because it's the end of summer. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Was given 2 different colors of paint with the same name.Upon returning to ask to get a matching color. We were told the paint machine cannot make mistakes, and we are color blind.Please do not insult your customers for your own mistakes.
