Helpful staff. Up until we walked out without our bag. I called the store, told them which self checkout and exactly what was in the bag and my hubby was on his way. He said they close at 8 and I said he'd be there. Now, since there would be no checking out again, just proving we paid for it, the nice thing would have been for the employee who put the stuff away (hot glue gun and sticks) to grab it again and have it ready at the front. Instead, hubby drives 15 min, is there at 7:54 and they locked the door. Hours are until 8. Door should remain unlocked until then, ESPECIALLY since they knew someone was on the way there to QUICKLY grab their stuff. NO REGISTER NEEDED. Kind of RUDE and I have no doubt the man who I spoke with made sure to lock the door early. It's not a bar, there shouldn't be clocks ahead of the correct time. Very disappointing.

Michaels will not hold purchased products beyond 5 days. I get it, but this is terrible customer service. Coming from out of town for a pick-up, I like to align all errands on one day. Others likely try to consolidate as well. Please consider holding pre-purchased products awaiting pickup for 10 days vs placing them back in the shelf. Come on, Michaels...do better for out of town guests scoring a holiday deal on your website!
