Ordered a few hundred dollars of clothing & a pair of shoes. Appreciated being able to pick up in store. What I didn't appreciate was being told the shoes I paid for somehow had gotten lost in the store. Cashier rummaged around behind the cash wrap-nothing. She called for a manager who again rummaged around the other customer orders behind cash wrap-nothing. I had no choice but to return them. Decided to go see if I could find an alternative after that. What do you know, the pair of shoes I bought, only in my size sitting on shelf. Somehow they ended up in the store's inventory. Total disappointment. Won't trust Nordstrom for my online orders. I'll go back to Macy's.

They added a $10 fee when I was about to make a $30 purchase online. Apparently you have to buy $40 worth of stuff to get free shipping, but you won't know until you get to the end. Their website is really confusing too.

I have been a loyal customer of Nordstrom for years. Admittedly, I never really go to the rack. I even worked for Nordstrom for years in college, even as a manager. I went in today to find a couple of things for my husband. He really needed navy socks for a business trip. I found some, but they didn't have a tag on them. They were a set and I could tell the set had been broken apart. When I went to the register to check out, I told the salesperson the socks didn't have a tag. She said she had to go check. When she came back, she had a black set. She rudely informed me, that I could buy the black set of 3, but since the navy ones were missing a pair, she couldn't sell them. I paused for a moment, and wanted to challenge her, that I should still be able to purchase the navy set of 2. It could just be a price adjustment. I told her I really needed the navy ones, and she said it was "policy" that she couldn't sell me the broken pack. She was so rude and I knew it wasn't worth challenging her. I couldn't believe how impertinent she was. Knowing Nordstrom values personally, I knew that she could have sold the socks. I was so frustrated, I just said forget it. I realize staffing is an issue currently, but no one needs to be rude and disrespectful. Now I know why I don't usually go to the Rack. However, I would believe that Nordstrom would like their customers to get the same or as close to the same level of service at both stores under the "Nordstrom name".
