They are the BEST! I'd give them more stars if I could! We have been to three other vets with our sweet Rottie and had situations arise at each one that we felt we weren't being spoken to honestly or that they weren't being upfront about costs. As soon as I walked into North Paws I could tell this clinic was different. From their cozy decor to the smiling faces at the front desk everyone was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Riggs was caring and very informative. Not only that she gave us the best tips and an after care summary that was extremely helpful and something no other vet had done. You will not regret bringing your beloved pet here!

Dr. Jordan Laseke and the rest of the team at North Paws are so incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and responsive. I have been so impressed by the care, attention, and level of detail both my dogs get (one is 15 and quite ill). Everything is explained thoroughly and in a way you can understand. I've never felt rushed to make a decision or pressured into any specific treatment.I feel immediately comfortable and at ease (the pups do too!) when I walk into the clinic and the team always responds with the speed of light to any phone calls or emails. The vibes are great, the doctors are great, the techs are great, and the staff is great! Zero complaints!

Long thorough review:We called around a bit trying to get a vet appointment for our family dog. Every other vet we called was incredibly rude, full, or not taking new clients. North Paws was so friendly from the start. I loved Dr. Riggs, the tech Adrianne, and Kara at the reception desk. They kept saying how cute and sweet Slater was and Adrianne gave him the nickname “Nugget.” So cute! I felt well taken care of there. They even sat down with us and a typed up summary of the visit and possible steps. The place is gorgeous, and I love all the quirky animal portraits (and lovely fonts on their posters). Now for the downside that made me nearly give 4 stars. It was extremely expensive, which I understand is worth it for respect and for proper care. All the tests came back looking healthy so far which is good but frustrating when you spend so much money and find no answer for why your dog is sick. Also the main reason I dropped a star is our difference in opinion on dog nutrition. I’m used to vets not agreeing about a raw diet. At least these people were respectful about it unlike most vets. Personally, I would NEVER recommend a food where the FIRST ingredient is corn starch. That being said, I was desperate to help my dog, so I agreed to give it a try since they said I can return it if it doesn’t work. I still hate it though. Also my dog has a chicken intolerance, and the food is made from chicken but they say it’s fine because it’s “processed it a way that the body doesn’t recognize it as chicken.” Bizarre and concerning but ok. I would have said no to it if we had an answer to why his was sick, but I was desperate to help him.Overall, I liked it there. I don’t have to agree with everything they say as long as they care about me and my dogs. That’s what matters most to me when picking a vet, so I’m sure I’ll be back.

this place is breed prejudiced. the "vet" wouldn't even enter our room until I put a muzzle on my 10-year-old Rottweiler who's never bitten anybody her entire life. because when the vet tech walked in the room initially she showed fear so my dog barked at her out of fear. You would think that somebody that works with animals all day everyday would know not to show fear. they also told me to let my dog rest for 4 to 6 weeks and then recheck her, when that isn't what would have been the best practice for her. If there was a negative star option I would have chosen it. I also understand there are bad dogs and vets put their lives at risk and everyday with the chance of being bitten but that's part of their career choice hazards and if you can't listen to a pet owners words and guarantees maybe you're in the wrong industry I was in tears having to put a muzzle on my pet shame on you! to find out she's got bone cancer.

The staff clearly love animals here! The entire intake process for my dog was thorough and ensured the tech and the vet better understand my dog and her health. They respected my senior dog and got to the answer they needed without compromising her comfort. I really appreciate their annual payment structure, as well. Very fairly priced and they were transparent throughout the appointment about what was included that day and what would be additional, as well as why they recommended each test. I wish I had found them sooner!

Charged us twice for the same diagnostic test…$110. We had to call it to their attention and spend an hour of our time to resolve.Other tests and fees were consistently and considerably higher than our normal vet. $235 total as compared to the original $600 charge with North Paws in Maple Grove for identical services. $490 after the $110 credit. This is an urgent care, so I’m fine with the $80 “urgent care” fee charged.Still too big of a discrepancy in my opinion.I told the manager I’d be satisfied with a $50 price reduction to rectify their mistake, our time to correct it, and the significant price differences.Nope, no interest in a reasonable request to satisfy a customer.

This is by far the best vet I've gone to. My rescued kitty struggles with anxiety and the vets and techs are very patient and gentle, making her feel safe and comforted even when she has to get her shots which usually frighten her badly. The staff are also very upfront with costs of care, medication, and treatments for you pet.Highly recommend this clinic for their excellent service!

Absolutely phenomenal staff. They pick up every call, answer all our questions every time, treat our dog so well, and are very upfront about costs. I will never go to a different vet clinic!
