I’ve been trying to get custom stamps made.
On Office Depot’s website, custom stamps are identified only by their dimensions (eg “2 x 3”) while they’re identified only by their ID numbers in store (eg “ID2640”). Because the stamps have different names online vs in store, it’s difficult to order one online after checking a stamp for sizing in store. I check for sizing in store because seeing the area of a stamp against a physical envelope is a more intuitive and accurate way of figuring out the size I need, compared to working with abstract dimensions. The Office Depot website also doesn’t differentiate between the literal dimensions of these stamps, and the size of the area that they stamp (ie how big are the stamp’s margins?).
Jeremy was already aware that customers face these difficulties at Office Depot. I came in right before store’s close, and even though the Print Center was already closed, Jeremy showed me the custom stamps they had in stock, measured each with a ruler, and then pointed out for me what each stamp is named on their website.
I was honestly struck by how helpful and knowledgeable Jeremy is. Office Depot should update their systems so that this isn’t an issue in the first place — the whole point of their custom stamps is that they’re supposed to be easy for customers to order online without guidance. But despite having to work through systems that don’t make sense, Jeremy was patient and dedicated in solving a problem for me that shouldn’t have existed. Office Depot is incredibly lucky to have team members like Jeremy who put in extra work to make up for poorly considered systems — in 2024, your employees shouldn’t have to confirm which products are which by measuring them with a ruler.
I’ve rarely met someone so patient and persistent working in customer service. Idk Jeremy’s role, but if he’s already the store manager, make him the regional. People like him are the only reason I go to Office Depot.

Today, I purchased a new Epson printer at Office Depot, and was assisted by Fuwad. It is a rare occasion, when an employee is as helpful as he was with me. I will definitely return to OD for may office needs! Thank you, Fuwad!!!

Tey your hardest to never do a pickup, exchange, actually don't checkout or ask for help either, the employees are much too busy taking the entire staff to do an exchange on a printer. The best part is when they stare at you and wonder why you aren't just leaving.

Online order pick up is ridiculous, employee tells me it’s not in there system yet i have the confirmation and a charge out of my bank account. I had to go through and pull the order up and it turns out they just haven’t picked the item off the shelf for pick up but it went through. I’m never going back to this store I don’t understand how hard a online order can be

I have been using Office Depot in Maple Grove for years and have always had good service. I love how easy they make print in all forms so easy and accessible. Scott the Manager at Maple Grove Print has been helpful and easy to work with. Last night I went to pick up posters as well as get a few other things done. There was a problem with my posters and I brought it up to Jeremy at the print center. Jeremy was very busy, working with several people and I want to give him props. He was pleasant, efficient, professional and got the posters redone quickly, while also handling the needs and demands of other customers (some very impatient even without waiting at all and simultaneously holding conversations on their cell phones). I was impressed and grateful. Thank you Jeremy - you are terrific! Thanks also to Scott, and also to the two other people I worked with last night that both graciously helped me with other needs. They no longer recycle printer cartridges unless you're a member. Ended up throwing them in the trash outside the store.

I'm and old man. Worked hard, have some assets. Been in charge all my life. Now I'm just an old guy, who can't keep up. I walked in with my tasks and problems. I am grateful to have the option of having Office Depot Office Max print larger jobs for me. There's a variety of options - color, two-sided printing, hole-punched, etc. Even removing pages that aren't needed. I will use this service again! I was surprised, however, when I received the email that my copy job was finished (12 hours earlier than expected!), I was told there would be a coupon attached to my order. It wasn't, but they printed it out for me when I asked. Just a little inconvenience, but communication is everything.
