Overpriced for used, very pilled sweatpants. Might as well just buy new because they are selling Target Cat and Jack and Walmart Geranimals brand for $8+.

Great options with materials turning over quickly, so can return often.

I was a loyal customer, until my most recent experience. Prices have increased significantly since my last shopping trip (Christmas time). The store is organized which is saying a lot. They have LOTS of things. But the sudden price increase has lost me as a customer. A sleeper that was $4.50 is now $7.50… you can’t tell me that their expenses increased by more than 40% that they have to pass this onto their consumer…nope. This is greed.

Not really worth a stop, the one in Saint Lois Park and Burnsville are way nicer. This store is very cramped and pretty pricey considering its second hand.

Came in for a snowsuit for my granddaughter and found what I needed easily and quickly. The store was STUFFED with merchandise, I'd imagine you could find any kids' clothes/supplies/toys you needed there. I came at night and their sign was totally out, so I drove past it a few times before I realized where it was. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.

Things were OK when I went. I saw at lot of items that had lower prices on them. But you can still see higher price as well. I set it on one item to go up front because of just in case they were gonna charge me the full price. So it's said four fifty with the three fifty on the side. It was time to check out Ring me up for the 450 I said. There's a sticker that says 350 right there. She says Let me go and ask my manager. The manager says no, it's 450. I didn't make a big deal. I just didn't buy the item. Now they have to waste time rapping it making sure that they put a new price on it. Because they didn't want to honor their part. She said to me then I'm sorry that was new staff that did that, and I'm still thinking in my head. Who cares And also that has nothing to do with me. I'm a person trying to spend my money, but not if you're going to Trying get over on me and make problems my problems. Let the person buy it. Go back retrain, your girls. Let them know to put the right price on things. If not, take it off simple if it happens, you deal with it at that moment. And the customer shouldn't know any problems going on behind the scenes. Note to self once upon a child we Don't care periodI won't go there for I'll just go on Facebook market and try to find for other places or even buy a full price because of that's Patty.

I wish i would’ve read the reviews before I went and tried to bring my stuff in FOR THE FIRST TIME in my life! I agree it is literally a waste of time, gas, and energy. The lady i delt with was arrogant and rude and i honestly felt embarrassed. It was awful! Plus I brought in a ton of toys that my kid’s barely played with and she wouldn’t accept them! brand new Jordan shoes, lunch boxes never used, dolls, doll clothes, little vacuums ext. I even bought a pair of snow boots at once upon a child on Halloween just to bring them home and not fit my son. So I put those in the bag today and they wouldn’t even buy them back from me! What a complete waste of time And gas. I agree give your stuff to the epilepsy foundation or good will or ANY place but maple grove once upon a child.

I always find nice used things for the kiddo here. We always get a set of winter things that he can keep at daycare each year. So much more cost effective and nice stuff.

Buyer beware. You can do better at a garage sale. Not “gently used kids’ clothing” and they will not stand behind their mistakes. I bought a fleece jacket here and discovered it had a burn hole in in it when i got home. I took it back as soon as I could get across the cities to Maple Grove again and rather then admit their mistake when checking the item they bought and re-sold, they hid behind their policy for 14-day returns. Apparently the policy applies even if they sell you clothes with burn holes in them! I’ve never had to check the clothes at Once Upon a Child for holes or stains, but I should have since most of the clothes at this location have significant pilling and wash wear and everything is just jam-packed into the racks. I couldn’t even find something to buy with the store credit they gave me instead of my money back for the jacket. So I bought my kid some books. When I got home he was reading one and it is covered in another kids’ writing - on almost every page. Whoever does their buying needs to pay attention. Not worth a visit here and not up to the standards of other locations at all!

Brought in a whole bunch of clothes brand new with tags. And a brand new pair of Nike shoes and walked away with 84 dollars. ??♀️??♀️ I'm sure they will make double what the gave me. Who ever is thinking about going there I suggest you don't. Give it away to family members or kids in shelter would be a better idea. I should have thought about this better.

Wonderful experience! This is the fifth time I have brought children's clothes here over the past two years. Every time I was treated kindly and I got cash back. The store is clean and well organized. The staff is polite and helpful. I will be returning.

What a joke. Barely worth the gas to go there. I feel ripped-off. Brought a complete set plus two additional add-on sets COMPLETE and still working perfectly and in good condition of Disney Geotrax set. Though unboxed. Paid ~$250 for the set. One tiny piece is $15 on eBay. The whole sets WITHOUT the two additional sets are priced $130-$150 on ebay. Gave me $7.00. Insulting. I’d rather have given this to a kid that would enjoy it than feel completely exploited and ripped-off by this corporate shill show. That was the answer I got from the teenage kid pricing my items, “that’s what corporate tells us to give”. Really?? Wow. What a gross experience.
