I typically really love this location but today’s experience was very frustrating. the person we worked with was actually really kind but I just wish we weren’t so rushed. we came in today to upgrade our phones, fully aware of the fact we would have to pay off our phones and possibly down payments. we knew what we were walking into. however, we were only given the cost of paying off our phones and the little bit extra. we were not shown an estimate of how much tax would be nor were we told there’d be tax. we paid for accessories up front, however, the tax for the phones was added to the invoice of the accessories, so our phones were $500+ which was fine we were quoted that, but not quoted for the accessories which added up accurate, but taxed an addition $200+ and didn’t have a tax payment on our invoice for the phones itself. we would have been fine if we were told, but we weren’t we had to contact customer support to figure out where this additional $200 came from. on top of this, typically when I get a new phone here the people I’ve worked with in the past would do transferring while I was there. the guy we worked with today had us do it at home, that’s fine, but first thing I transferred everything over my new phone told me that it was activated but no phone number added. my other phone was already reset and didn’t have a cellular data on it. I called the store and the guy told me there was nothing they could do we would need to come back tomorrow. I’m sorry, but I need my phone as a part of my job. I can’t wait til I’m off work which I can’t exactly do without my phone, because of something that wasn’t even my fault and was beyond my control. The transfer should have been done there to make sure everything was okay like typically I’m suggested to do. I had to deal with customer support for 3 and a half hours because of this and we couldn’t even get into my T-Mobile account to get my account number because my phone number wasn’t active to give me a code and no one ever set up a pin with me so we had to jump through hoops. It took FOUR different reps to figure out how to fix my iPhone. This could have easily been solved if we just did the transfer there but I trusted what we were told to do and that was my first mistake. So not only were we outed an additional $200 we were never told about, which we only received a $35 credit for the “inconvenience”, but we also wasted 3+ hours trying to fix a brand new iPhone. my best advice to anyone who comes here for a new phone is make sure to do your transfer in the store so if something happens someone can walk you through it. Make sure to ask for estimates before agreeing to pay for anything, including tax. Otherwise, we do appreciate the kindness of the staff and the efficiency of working with someone. But please make sure to not rush your customers, and please make sure they know exactly what they’re paying for as well.

I was at this location to purchase a new iPhone and upgraded my plan. Tanzin walked me through everything in details. He was super helpful, friendly, and patient with me. He helped me transferred everything from my android to the iPhone. He even helped with my daughter’s phone 3 days later.

I had to stop in (as instructed by customer service) for an issue with my company’s business account. It was incredibly frustrating and after dealing with a super unhelpful customer service agent over the phone, Davin E. fixed everything for me and truly went above and beyond to get my issues sorted out! Not only was he super friendly and patient, he suggested different things to try to fix the issues I was experiencing, I was able to get the information corrected on the account and get out the door relatively quickly. He saved the day for literally close to 1000 of my customers! Thanks so much for your help, Davin! T-mobile is lucky to have you!! :)

We recently switched over to T-Mobile from another carrier after 25 years. I had worked with the online/customer service team mostly but still needed help with keeping our phone numbers. We chose to go to the Maple Grove Store. We were immediately greeted by Jon Yang (Mobile Expert) who was so helpful. Jon was very knowledgeable and patient given our situation. We transferred 5 lines and went with their internet service as well. If your looking for a better deal on cellular or internet service, be sure to head to T-Mobile Maple Grove and ask for Jon Yang. The entire experience was great from start to finish. I look forward to many, many years with you. Thanks again Jon, you were a great help. I have not seen this type of care in customer service in a long time.

The employee was super rude, I wanted to just ask a question about my Samsung watch and he would not help me because it wasn't under warranty anymore, so he was trying to sell me another one, I JUST WANTED TO ASKED A QUESTION!!!! Never going back there.

The Maple Grove Minnesota location was amazing!!. The representative Jon was very professional, polite and super knowledgeable.He immediately greeted us as soon as we walked in and answered all of my questions. Assisted me to upgrading to a new phone and was super patient with me. He deserves to be acknowledged and promoted. Please keep up the great work I will always come to this location.

I was heading out of town and dropped and broke my phone. I called T-Mobile and Davin answered the phone. I explained my situation and told him that I need to have a phone, set up and be out the door by 12:45 pm to get to the airport. This all happened at 11:00 am. He told me to come to the store and he could make this happen. And he did! I got a new phone, case, screen protector, charging cords and blocks and had everything set up on my new phone and was out the door by 12:45. Amazing service Davin and T-Mobile! I so appreciate the outstanding service in my time of need. I would highly recommend!!

Great experience. Davin was friendly, quick and very helpful! Only issue is that they should absolutely have stools here like at other locations so employees can sit down. This is an accessbility issue and there is NO reason employees should have to stand all day. Please give them stools.

I went in yesterday afternoon on Sunday, September 24 with my dad to request a number change. When I went in I was greeted by an employee, I didn’t get her name but, she was an older woman who works there and she was your typical “Karen.” She asked what brings us in and I told her that I was wanting to change my number and she got really rude with us. She rudely asked, “What do you mean by change your number?” I had to define what it means to change your number and I told her I wanted a number with a different area code as I am going to be relocating. She refused to help me and said no, we cannot do that and it has to be local area codes. Before I walked into the T-Mobile store, I did chat with a customer service representative and I was told otherwise. I explained this to her and she continued to be rude and not help us so, me and my dad just left the store and went to the Plymouth location off 55 and they changed my number per my request with no problem. I don’t know why this employee was so rude and refused to assist us and I was nice and did nothing to provoke anybody. I just came in requesting to change my number to a non local area code. I don’t recommend this store and maybe you should teach your employees to treat customers better and maybe be more familiar with policies.
