Since Target stopped their DEI policies they showed me their equity stance is performative. I won't be back and used to shop there 3-4 times per week. Taking a stand against Target and spending my dollars elsewhere.

My parents visited the Target Maple Grove location on 2/10/25 sometime in the afternoon. They picked up 5 mangoes, then at the pay-counter, changed their mind and asked the lady to keep them behind. The lady, in response, said "this goes right in the dustbin. Once you touch anything, we don't take it back, it has to go". She also said, "I can take it when I go home". This was a tall, hefty woman (I characterize her as my parents don't remember the isle number or her name). My mom apologized and stated she hasn't experienced this in any other Target location incl. Target Plymouth. This was an unusual encounter and frankly, a response that came across as unprofessional. If this is Target's new policy, then this needs to be communicated in a way that does not make the customer feel as though once they Touch something, they cannot change their mind at the counter! The mangoes were not taken home and then returned later (this scenario would make sense where the mangoes cannot be returned).

This target itself is fine...but someone stole a new jug of windshield wiper fluid from my backseat while I was in the store last night. Dick move man I didn't even get to use it yet because my hood was frozen shut. So anyway...make sure you dont forget to lock your car when you park at this target I guess. 😑

Went to do Christmas shopping at the Target Maple Grove...so disappointing..no exterior decor and inside decor was literally cheap paper ugliness...the decor offerings were limited, cheap and really unattractive...Target is losing it felt like a bad Kmart or Walmart..used to be tasteful and fun..now cheap junk...

Order pick up inside was a disaster. I walked to the counter and an employee was facing the other way on their phone. I stood there for while thinking they were looking up an order or something. Finally I said excuse me after a line behind me started to fill up. The employee apologized and said they were parking lot and so they couldn’t help me. I asked if someone would be coming to help and they said yes then proceeded to be on their phone. I waited a while longer then someone else came up from the check out. I thought okay good someone is coming to help. He asked if I had been helped yet and I said no. He acknowledged me then proceeded to go on his phone. I thought okay he’s calling someone and I waited longer… nothing. I finally asked both of them AGAIN if they could contact someone to help me. Both of them seemed surprised and one said ohh shoot I don’t have a walkie and still just stood there. Luckily at that point someone did come out from the back and helped me. I was both shocked and annoyed that two separate people seemed committed to not help me. It also appears that the order pick up desk area is the secret phone break zone. Either that or I got unlucky. Either way I suggest that it be looked into.

Went in today at 4:00 for a few things. Empty shelves everywhere, on a Tuesday. There were only 3 cashiers open with long lines. Self checkout was 15 people deep and 3 machines out of order. Come on Target! With all your $$$ you can do better for your customers!!

At this location I asked if they can check in the back for an item as the other location said over 14 items here at maple Grove. The dude went through back stock page to check and that’s not how you’re supposed to check. Tell your employees to check items on the my device properly.

I was trying to find a shirt and asked if they had it in a bigger size. One of the sales workers said they would check in the back and never came out. I ended up waiting walking around and decided to finally just leave.

Once every year or every two years target will heavily discount and or clearance their display TV’s so they can bring in the new models. I tried to purchase a display tv at this location and they cannot sell it to me because they don’t have the box for it. I asked if you cannot sell the tv then what will you do with it, they didn’t have an answer for me. I understand it doesn’t come with a warranty, that is okay with me. I purchased this exact tv from the Chanhassen location yesterday without a box and had no problem. I called target corporate and explained the situation and they told me that it is up to each store location if they will sell an item with or without the box. I am left upset and confused as to why I cannot purchase the TV.
