Derrick built a new deck for us. The speed and skill he demonstrated and his knowledge in deck construction blew our minds! He is a precision craftsman and the final product will certainly increase our home's value. When guests see our new deck they are so impressed and surprised at the value for the price we paid. His bid price was $20k lower than the other two bids. Derrick completed the project much faster than the competition would have. He also referred us to a landscape contractor, and created a custom look underneath the deck. He focuses on quality and getting it right. He and his apprentice, Logan, were respectful of our property and so conscientious. We just can't thank them enough. We would definitely hire Uneek Design again!

Derrick and Sarah are truly amazing people. Derrick has been building stuff his whole life. Sarah is ontop of running this business very responsible and professional. They have great crews and do what they say when they say it.

My wife and I hired Uneek Design for our garage project. The work included a complete tear down of an old garage and then a new build from the ground up. The new garage consisted of a few complexities including attic trusses and an attic access along with LP siding. We had a positive experience throughout the entire project. The jobsite was left clean after each day, the workmanship was very detailed and the job was very professional.

When you contract with Uneek Design Build & Remodel you partner with so much more than a skilled contractor. With limited space in every room he provided design and build solutions to increase functional areas in the kitchen, pantry, laundry room & bathroom. I now enjoy, not only a complete remodel but most importantly a “forever home” for me. I am forever grateful for his patience and expertise and I know, while I did not meet Sarah, her creative design and contract management skills kept this project on budget and schedule. Derrick and Sarah helped me when I had a water main break in my house. They were out the same day to make sure the structural damage was repaired immediately so the house was safe to live in and had the plumbing fixed that day so it could be used while the rest of the repairs were taken care of. Uneek and the subcontractors they used were able to completely gut and replace my basement in under 2 months. Quality work and great communication. I can't thank them enough.

The entire Uneek crew was great to work with on three different projects from start to finish that we had them complete for us. We have had three large decks removed an replaced now at two different locations as well as a bathroom floor removed and replaced. Sarah was great to work with on the design of the decks. Derrick and his crew did outstanding work on each of the projects. Their work was on time as scheduled, and on budget for each of the projects. We have received may compliments on the very detailed deck work that Derrick and his crew completed. Derrick was very easy to work with and delivered great finished results. Any future remodeling that we consider, well, Uneek Design will be the first that we call on to get the job done right the first time.

Our house had an unexpected exterior repairs needed due to a poor roof design and lack of proper flashing. Being new homeowners who had just moved into our new home, Derek understood our need not let the scope of the project creep and costs reasonable.
Derek not only completed the repairs, but also modified the roof to prevent this from ever being an issue in the future. The final project cost came in comfortably under the estimated "not to exceed" price.

Do not go with this company! They framed our deck, it heaved awful, came out to look at it, told us to do something else first and then call them back. They failed on any follow-up phone calls to get them back out. The wife accidently picked up my call and hung up after she got my name. They are legally responsible for the repairs, obviously they are not the kind of business I thought they were. Our neighbors also had them do deck work and also got ghosted when calling about repairs. Do not waste your money with this awful company! We had to pay another company to do the repairs that they were responsible to do for free according to state laws.

I paid to have a composite deck installed. part of the deck droops between joists. i requested repair and the so-called repair did not work. The deck droops between joists after the so-called repairs. Repeated calls went unanswered. This deck was built in 2011
If it turns out that they did not get the proper permits and approvals, I will sue for proper repairs in order to sell. Do not use this company!!

Uneek design put in a new deck for me. They were responsive from the very beginning. Their pricing came in the middle of all the bids. I loved Derricks enthusiasm & professionalism when I first sat down with him to discuss a new deck. The challenge was working with my association to approve a new design deck with maintenance free that met their guide lines. Uneek design was patient with the process, offered awesome recommendations. Ultimately the deck was approved and I can't wait to enjoy it this summer. I've had several owners say the deck looks awesome. Thank you Uneek Design!!
