We showed up in subzero temperatures to use the coin machine for my son's piggy bank money. I put my hand on the door handle SECONDS after it turned 5:00pm when they closed and they would not let us in. I understand there has to be a cut-off but there were plenty of customers still inside with tellers, and we were only going to be using a self-service machine. As a US Bank customer of over a decade it would have been nice to feel a more accommodated from the employees. Instead the attitude I got felt like they were questioning if I knew how to read a clock. :(

Went to do a simple deposit into my son’s account. They wouldn’t accept my ID because it had little holes in it. Went back to my car to get the paperwork. When I returned I got a different teller that refused to take my deposit without the account number. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone. I have been there in the past and got a completely different teller and didn’t have any problems at all.

Wont take more than a few deposits in the drive thru, mind you there were zero cars waiting. Isnt this what banks do? We didnt come with a ton of deposits. Super disappointed in the "I guess I will try" attitude.
Update: given the response on here.... cash can not be deposited online and given the nature of the deposits, they cant be done at the atm. Believe me, anything that I can do outside of going to the branch, I do. These require a person to handle them.

I had an appointment with Aaron in Maple Grove in order to open an account. He was wonderful. Very professional and explained everything thoroughly! I would highly recommend him

I deleted the previous review since I found the slowness was in their stupid system. But they denied it, a girl came from inside and said there was an issue with your checks. I deposited the same check for 5 years and never had an issue.
I told the teller just to deposit the cash , and then I deposited the checks at the ATM inside the bank seconds later, and guess what all went through.

Worst experience at a bank o have ever had. I do not like being treated as if I’m a criminal and lied to as to why I couldn’t receive a temporary card to my own account. The manager at this branch should not have been in this position at all to make a customers feel this way was unprofessional no attempt to find a solution besides attempting to encourage me to open a credit card which I did not need.

Super disappointed. I understand banks do make mistakes. But this one cost me my credit score. And the timing couldn’t have been worse.
And again I understand accidents, but when I ask for you to reverse what you did and you tell me you “don’t have time today” and “come back another day” it sure didn’t seem like you cared how badly this affected me.
Let me add, I have now switched to a credit union.

Someone called me and left a voice message. He was talking so fast that I had to replay the voice message like 14 times and still can't get the call back number. I think his name Saeed or something like that. So stupid to do business in this way

I can understand shutting down your outside ATM during business hours due to the poor layout of your drive through services. I totally get that allowing people to use the atm then would prevent all the lanes from being used if the line was backed up. Plus when you are open I can just go inside to get cash. What is extremely frustrating is that once you close there is no way to get cash at this location. Either turn the ATM on to cash withdrawals after hours or put another atm outside (maybe in the front?) or in between the outside doors of the building like some banks. Literally a bank branch without 24hr atm access is bonkers and will drive people to the many other banking options in Maple Grove.

A stupid layout that the ATM is the same lane as a teller so if someone needs a teller you can't access the ATM.

I switched banks, the only account I have still there is my mortgage account which I can't refinance to a lower rate. I had a bad interaction with the branch manager a couple of years ago. I ended up switching to a credit union and that was the best banking decision of my life.

Went to cash Minnesota 2021 tax rebate check which was drawn on U.S. Bank and was told there is a $7.00 fee to cash it for non account holders. If a check is drawn on the bank there should NOT be a fee to cash it. I don't recommend doing business with corporations that have such poor business practice.

Went in for a deposit and the line was long several emploees steped up and helped. They got the line finished up in no time. It was great to see team work.
