My husband ordered glasses and was given a promise date of 2 weeks later. No call on that day, so we checked the order status online. They weren’t even in process yet. When I called to inquire, I was unapologetically told that glasses take 2-3 weeks to manufacture and I should just wait. I asked what recourse there may be for missing a PROMISE date, and I was told there is nothing. They just get to take as long as they “need.” We wouldn’t even have been upset if not given an unrealistic date that they then missed and didn’t even reach out about.Giving 2 stars because the employee who helped us order was friendly and efficient.

So helpful and so friendly! Lost the screw on a pair of Oakley sunglasses and little did I know - only certain places care Oakley screws. The staff tried so hard to get another screw to work, but alas could not. Offered payment, but they said a positive Google review was good enough. Would definitely do business here, they went the extra mile!

The staff is very kind knowledgeable and helpful. My 14 year old granddaughter and I had back to back appointments, and it went smooth and efficient. We’ve been going here for 6 years now, but this time was the best experience we’ve had.

I visited Visionworks in Maple Grove. Their customer service was outstanding. They helped me with getting the prescription info, checking on insurance coverage, providing all costs. They did all of the legwork while I was there. Their patience, support and overall kindness was exemplary!

No bragging about this place anymore. Virtual appointments which require your physical body in their office yet NO OPTOMETRIST in the office. Screened multiple times for health issues to which NO ONE told me that they would NOT be able to do the exam and that I would have to go to some distant office for an exam. All this after being screened multiple times on-line, phone call etc. For those of us that take time off from work to attend these appointments this is costly. All I heard was a bunch of excuses from the staff. Pretty easy to say to a customer via on-line or the screening phone call "if you have any underlying health issues we will not be able to do an eye exam for you." Simple as that. Problem solved. BTW. Your office looks like it needs a make-over. Peeling logo on the desk, dirty carpet ... it's really run down.

Short chubby lady with short hair is very rude. I forgot my insurance card and told her that my insurance company said they could call if any questions or problems. Short lady told me they don’t call. I called the insurance Co. myself and gave short lady the insurance group number which is what they needed. Short chubby lady made a phone call to whoever and proceeded to tell me that they do not accept my insurance, and that it would be out of net work. My insurance company says it’s in net work, and there is no problem. I ended up walking out very frustrated and disappointed with chubby ladies customer service. She refused to call my insurance company but yet she called someone else and then proceeded to tell me that we were not in network when my insurance company said we are. No wonder they’re only rated three stars, I wish I could give zero stars.Follow up; I received a call back from the short heavy set women. She started off by saying “WE requested a call back”. Not from her! Maybe from the owner or corporate, but not from her. She denied everything.I am traveling from out of state, got something in my eye, I called my insurance company to see if I was covered at Vision-works in MN, they told me I was and that if Maple Gove MN Visionworks should have any questions to call. She refused to call my insurance company but did pick up the phone and called someone within her company network and they told her I wasn’t covered. Well done, times two.

Glasses ordered a couple months ago. Checked back after hearing nothing at all from the store and was told "there have been a lot of people in and out of the store and some things slipped through the cracks". In the meantime my insurance changed due to a new job and new glasses are not covered until next year. Terrible service.

Leah was a Gem!!! Fixed my old glasses and helped me acquire new ones. Leah was very professional but also down to earth, funny, and attentive! I highly recommend this particular Vision Works store!!!!!!!!I've been to other stores that were rude and didn't care about the customers wants and needs!!!

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I was here last month & was in the building for over THREE HOURS before I was checked out. Then, I had to schedule another appointment which was cancelled because they were "too behind". Today, I drove all the way here to find out that they are another TWO HOURS behind. But I drove all the way here, so I'm trying to stick it out. As time goes on, my patience is waning. I'm about to walk out. The technicians here know literally nothing about anything. I have been sitting in the "doctor's room" for about 40 minutes now (after waiting in the waiting room for over an hour). The technician has no idea when the doctor will be ready or what an ETA is. This place is a MESS. I have had 3 of 3 bad experiences, and I am NEVER going here again.

This location is absolutely horrible. I have had two separate appointments and the first one had to be cancelled because they were so far behind. Today I came in for my second one and they were 2 hours behind when they close in less than 2 hours. Ridiculous!

DO NOT GO HERE. Technicians lack knowledge in anything they’re doing and are extremely unprofessional. They seemed confused most of the time. The telehealth screening is just terrible, the doctors just rush to get through people. They don’t contact you when you your glasses are ready. Store was extremely disorganized. One of the technicians was talking about how she gets complaints about her customer service and was laughing about it. During my doctors telehealth meeting the front desk and technician were IN my room talking over the doctor. All in all, I would not put my eye health in their care.

Terrible customer service. Place is a nightmare. I’ve had better customer service at Wendy’s, and these people are in charge of your vision, no thanks. Enter at your own risk.I’m not wasting anymore time on your store. You were rude to me when I arrived. Figure out the problem yourself, my guess is you don’t care about your service because you are blindly handed money from insurance companies

This location has to be a front for another business. My husband has been trying to place an order for contacts since June 1st. Every time he calls to check on the order, turns out they never ordered it. They have the absolute worst customer service. Again this place feels like a front b/c they're really not providing people with glasses. DO NOT COME HERE.

They don’t call, text, or email when contacts are ready. Last time 2+ wks go by and I show up to pick up assuming they’re ready because they never call and turns out they never even got ordered along with like 10 other people’s orders. So quick to charge you but don’t place the order or even let you know it did not get placed. Never coming back here again. Save yourself the time and stress.

Screwup from the beginning. Assigned to an intern. Bifocals and sunglass bifocals ordered. When the regular pair came in the bifocal line was way off. Sent back for adjustment. When the pair came in the second time, the prescription was wrong and vision blurry. Learned the sunglasses had not been ordered. Order canceled and refund attempted, but the amount was wrong. Waited an hour in the store for a supervisor to get the refund amount corrected. Five days later, and the amount of the refund is still incorrect. Store personnel acknowledge the problem but can't figure out how to correct. What to do? Contest the credit card charge? File a lawsuit?
