I cannot thank Marissa, the lead pharmacist, enough for the kindness and exceptional service she provided today. As a mom with a sick toddler, I was already feeling overwhelmed, but Marissa went above and beyond to make things easier for me.
Not only did she take my call personally, but she also went out onto the sales floor to grab Motrin for my son so that I wouldn’t have to bring him inside when picking up his antibiotic. She made sure the prescription was ready in just 30 minutes, allowing me to get everything I needed quickly. Her thoughtfulness and efficiency honestly moved me to tears—it was such a relief to have that level of care.
Beyond that, I could see that her leadership carries through to the entire Walgreens team. The staff member at the drive-thru even asked me to leave a review, which speaks volumes about the culture of service she fosters. This experience is exactly why I chose this Walgreens, even though another location was closer. The drive-thru, the availability of the pharmacist, and the willingness to help made all the difference.
Thank you, Marissa, for going out of your way to help a stressed-out mom. My son is already on the mend, and I have you to thank for making this process so smooth. I’ll be coming back to this Walgreens because of the incredible care I received today!

Originally my medication was at the Edina location cause it was lowest price there. I didnt want to drive out there so I had requested it be sent over to this location. Apparently when you request for that, the order is not gonna be active in the system anymore once it’s picked up by a carrier. Online, it’s gonna show up as picked up, but there are no details that it got picked up by a CARRIER and delivered to the desired location. No tracking info. Nada. No confirmation that it got delivered and is ready for pick up too. I was told I would be contacted by phone when it arrives and it would’ve arrived yesterday cause it got picked up by the carrier 4 days prior. I had no call so I had to call myself today and confirm— and it did. Walgreens need to be more organized. Their system will confuse their customers and pharmacy staff. Staff kept trying to find it in their system and assumed there is nothing for pick up. Did the med not show up that was it originally at the Edina location? I said it got picked up and shipped to your specific location but apparently I worded it wrong so there was a mix up. 😐

Update - September 2024: Just writing to say that Anna, the pharmacy tech, is wonderful!
We have had a number of not so great experiences at this Walgreens, but I was pleasantly shocked by how helpful, efficient, and informative she was.
Previous Review - Pharmacy has gotten insanely slow and customer service has dropped off.

What a disappointment! Moved here from CVS and it’s no better. I was contacted three times by Walgreens (two texts and a phone call) that my prescription was ready and to come pick it up. I drive all the way there to pick it up and guess what? It’s not ready! After waiting 10 minutes I walked out and now have to drive back a second time! And of course the pharmacist is too busy and says “he can only do so many things at once”. Well I don’t care how busy he is or what he’s working on, he’s got a customer standing here in front of him (after being told 3 times it was ready). I get you’re busy, but seems to me I should have gotten some priority, but I guess not.

The folks at the pharmacy here are fantastic. They are always very friendly and go above what is asked of them. I’ve had nothing but great service.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. They told me it would be 20 minutes so I walked around the store to grab a few things I needed. 40 minutes later they called my name, went up to find out they only had one prescription out of three filled. I told them I was going to sit out in my car and make a call so I’d wait for the text that my prescription was ready. Again, they told me it should be 20 minutes. And again, 40 minutes later they texted me that my prescription was ready for pick up. I went to the window to grab it and AGAIN it was one prescription out of three. I took the one and didn’t go back for the other two because who has an hour and a half to wait for their prescriptions to be filled??? So today I called and made sure the prescription was ready before going in… drove up to the window to get it and was told the whole pharmacy is on break til 2:00. Are you kidding me??? I won’t be back.

The pharmacy techs are extremely rude. It is as thiugh the customers are bothering them. They have nasty attitudes when you have questions. I pocked up my subscription and the pharmacy tech got mad because she could not find the medication. When she did find it she said "here take this medicine" and threw it on thw counter. Very unprofessional and inappropriate behavior.

Horrible customer service pharmacy. Waited for 55 minutes when they said 20 and when I drove back they said my insurance didn’t cover because it’s not active. Of course it was active and had two insurances. Also they had a car in front of me waiting for meds when mine were ready for like 10 minutes. Also if you don’t know what you doing ask for help!
