After reading reviews of this Aamco and Brian (?) I just found the transmission shop I’m going to. If I can get an appt 😉😉. I felt positive vibes reading some reviews for sure. I’m nervous to get my transmission worked on, but I feel a little better now!

On Monday, I called Brian asking for quote on a transmission flush. He asked about the year, make and model of my car before detailing what services the shop could perform. He made the conversation easy to understand. I was able to drop my car off Wednesday morning and picked it back up around noon!

I needed a new muffler, and had been upset from previous service at a local dealership so then found AAMCO in Maplewood. I was able to speak to Brain directly when calling and his team was able to take a look at my car the same day. He was kind, professional, honest, and identified the issue right away. He gave me options of when to get it fixed (was even able to do the next day after the part arrived but it didn’t work for my schedule). He provided a timely update when the car was fixed, and was a cheaper price than what the local dealership gave me. My car sounds SO much better, and they clearly fixed my problem! I will definately call Brain again instead of the dealership if needing car help in the future. Glad to have found Brain and his team!

So- in full transparency I have not used Aamco for actual service- yet. But I will definitely down the road if I need transmission work. My review is from dealing with the owner on the phone as I was trying to set up service. I have 2 older vehicles and he (Brian) could have told me anything he wanted to get me in for service. But instead he gave me honest feedback and was patient with my questions and directed me to go a different direction. I appreciated his honesty.

I’d recommend this shop to anyone! Brian the owner is extremely helpful, great at communicating and replaced the transmission in my 2008 Chevy Silverado very quickly for HALF the price I was quoted for at other shops! The transmission is smooth as butter now and I’m more than happy with their service. For only $200 more I was able to get a three year unlimited warranty which gave my husband and I great peace of mind. Brian was recommended to me by a very good friend and I’m so grateful to have gone with him for the repairs. Brian was sure to explain everything I needed to know and kept me up to date with all findings/progress. He was more than accommodating to our situation and really helped relieve our stress throughout the whole process. I’ll be recommending his shop to everyone I know! Couldn’t be happier. These guys have been amazing to work with. They did a huge job and made it so easy for me. They worked with my warranty company and had incredible follow up service. I brought my car back a couple of times with questions and they answered and helped me out each time like they had nothing else going on. Appreciate them so much!!!!
