I came in for a simple tire change . My car wasn’t even there , I only brought them the wheel needing replacement. The sales guy named Joe helped me out , quick and easy . Only thing is he just got caught up helping other people and wondering around and totally forgot about me ! I entered the shop at around 4:30 and was only able to leave at 5:50 when I confronted them about my wheel. A simple job and I ended wasting my time because you forgot to come and get me when my tire was ready to go! All the other salesman talking about how fast you guys were that day and somehow I ended up forgotten . Go to Joe at Maplewood location if you want help with someone who doesn’t value your time and take accountability for their mistakes.

Come on Discount Tires!!! I have been waiting for my Rims that your worker messed up since October of 2024. I have come back to store multiple times and they keep saying that they will call me, but I never got a single call. I can’t wait anymore patiently. Please let Mr. Xiong know about this comment. I am willing to remove or fix this comment when my rims are taken care of.

After 4 reminders, the tires I had removed for the winter were not marked for rotation. The staff at the front seemed overworked, taking phone calls while serving me.

I cleared time for tire work, only to have first snow. Massive crowds, long waits. DT did as well as plausible, until some things got left out. Another trip solved this. I will continue to use Discount Tire & Tire Rack. (TRSS instructor)

Went in for a flat, said I needed new rims because of rust and tried to get me to purchase a new rim. Decline and bought my own but had them replace it. My tires was still getting flat and suddenly I just had a screw in my tire. Simple misdiagnosed could of save me time and money.

Save your money and headache go to a tire shop that isnt full of young kids doing a summer job , a simple task of getting tires rotated and balanced you would think would be straight forward. "Wrong" resulting in the need to make a 2nd trip to have done correctly and they have the balls after the idiot gets grease all over your tan leather interior, and screws the balancing up to ask that you give them a 9 or higher on the review, yeah ok lmao.
The problems have gotten even worse in April 2024 , they tried to tell me they dont make 18" steel wheels, "yes he said that" but would gladly sell me some aluminum ones at a much higher price, I brought to the managers attention Daniel and he could have cared less .
again on Dec 2024 I had bought another bran knew set of winter tires as well as brand new rims from another location , when I went to have them mounted they tried to say that all for brand new tpm sensors didn't work and therefore had to sell me 4 new ones at $70 a piece in order to mount the tires on the rims , I told them no and to just mount the tires on the rims put them in my truck and ill put them on myself , at which point they said no because they knew i was going to put them on myself. I told them to F off, and went to tires plus and they mounted them no problem and guess what all 4 sensors work!!!! Upon returning to the location to show the same manager Danny he again got a attitude and could care less. Obviously this practice is acceptable to discount tire because if you read reviews you will see the same problem with this manager, his name comes up over and over again. If I owned the company he would no longer be employed there period .....

The front desk was very helpful but they will try to scam you if you are not careful. I had no issues with my actual service, but they did try to tell me that my winter tires were 6 years old even though I bought them new from Tire Rack in fall of 2021.

Trash of a place. Was forced to buy tire replacement warranties when all I wanted was for them to install tires that I had brought in. Told them I didn’t need lifetime balance, lifetime rotation or nothing special. Was lied to by the worker that I had to purchase the replacement warranty since the tires weren’t bought from discount and that in order for them to install the tires I had to purchase the warranty. Spent $200+ to install 4 tires. Trash business.

I went there to get a tire mounted and when they reinstalled the wheel on the vehicle, they crossed threaded one of my Lugnuts and now I had to bust it off in order to remove my wheel to do a brake job absolutely terrible place. I would not go there within have them do anything on my vehicle, if you need a good tire shop Hometown tire in West St. Paul is the best place to go

Been going to Maplewood discount tires for a long time. This time how ever it took a long time to get service for a simple air check. Simply because when I have purchased brand new time they didn't do a quality check on the tmps to make sure they where all functioning... the salesman even told me they are not required to note any damage tpms when installing tires!? These folks where nice enough not to charge me for the broken tpms. But they made me go back twice just to waste my time because the TPMS lights where still on...bunch of clowns.
They also stole my tire valve caps...Tsk Tsk Tsk

Damaged my wheels and didn't clean them. Can't imagine if I had chrome rims. 1 tire was under inflated which caused my tps sensor to go off. I told them and they just reset my tps didn't even bother to measure. I measured it myself and had to inflat the tire to the right pressure.

Called the store this morning at about 10am to see if they could mount and balance these new wheels/rims I bought online recently onto a set of summer tires I already had(the tires were not attached to wheels/rims already) and install tpsm sensors and they got me in at 11:45am and I was out before it hit 12:30pm. Thanks to Joe and Mari for the help. I was nervous about the possibily of my new wheels beig scratched but they reassured me that everything will go smoothly and it did. Not a scratch on them. I appreciate their professionalism and spectacular customer service and will most definitely recommend to anyone and come back myself.
Edit- Had to visit this location because of a flat caused by valve stem.breaking. Danny got me in and out in no time. And no fee. I love this location and employees, they all deserve a raise.
