I purchased 2 xbox 360 consoles online from gamestop. Both consoles would not read disks. They either said disks un readable or when closed wouldnt even recognize a disk was in the tray and said "open tray".
I guess I will have to purchase one on marketplace and test it prior to purchase. Just like gamestop should be doing before they take used consoles in.

I pre-order a game and the game was not in it's new shrink wrap the casher (Zachary) told me the order was damaged during shipping so they had to put it in a Gamestop clear sleeve bag but the game is new. While halfway home I checked the game, there's fingerprints on it and it's be used. So went and returned the game but it seems like he knew that it's been used.

Staff is super nice but no one from the store or customer service can help with my issue. I don't know why they kept having my wrong phone number in the system when I corrected them more than three times already. Even customer service kept telling me to go into the store for assistance when they could of reset or update the information on their end. Sound like a call center from India as well with a fake name.

I wanted to buy a controller but the guy said that the controller came with the xbox they bought so if i want the controller i have to buy the console which seems dumb to me like why not just swap out the controller

GameStop is a dying retail store. I haven't been to the store in years but I needed to purchase a new PS5. The only person there was the guy behind the counter. He was wrapping up a call but was very helpful and got what I needed very quickly. Shame to see the place like that though.

My experience with GameStop tonight was poor. I went in to buy Platinum manhunter and reverse flash. I was told by the store employee that they had to check and see if they were in stock. Once they confirmed they had the figures he said he had to go find them because he didn’t know where they were in the back. Once he came out from the back with the figures, one of the other employees that was working there peaked over the guy that was helping me as they were ringing me up , the other employee said that the Reverse Flash was on hold for his friend and couldn’t sell it to me . I should note this was at 8:30 and the store closes at 9.
I’m not very thrilled about my experience tonight at the GameStop store and i am aware of the hold policy, The guy who said he was holding it for his friend didn’t even know they had it in stock. I would be talking to the store manager tomorrow
