Last week I went to donate some nice things and the worker just threw the things in bins. I had to tell him to be careful with one bag with a mantle clock in it. Not very happy about how things were treated.

I got in one of two lines. When I got up to the register the cashier said they needed to use the bathroom. Ok, fine. I'll take off all my hangers while I wait (I had a mound of clothes). 10 minutes go by. Many others come to the line and move to the other. Leave well before me. Employee finally comes back with comb in hand and checks their cell phone before starting to check me out. Checks it again while ringing everything up. It was the slowest process ever. I can wait for a 3 minute pee break but a 15 minute bathroom with grooming break? Other people weren't so patient (ie everyone else in line).

Prices have gone a lil bit up but have a lot of good stuff I even got my homecoming dress there with my mom and it was only 20$ after buying a cheep 1400$ Dress and was all itchy

I shopped in the Maplewood Goodwill store yesterday, 5/22/24, afternoon, and was very pleased with how friendly and helpful the staff, and even the other patrons, were to me. It was an overall positive experience (except someone benefited by getting to the bookcase I was seeking, but such is life), that I really needed. Thanks to all the kind people who were at that Goodwill yesterday!

I will never shop at Goodwill again. I was in there checkout line before 8 pm (store closing), and the manager would not let me purchase my items.He claimed that his cahiers were off work at 8 pm. I HOPE GOODWILL is still paying them because they were still checking people out after 8 pm. I worked in retail for several years, never treated customer that way. Also I have never been told I cant purchase something when I am in line before they close. This man also kicked a very sweet older women out that was behind me in line and she was crying when she came out of the store because she couldn't purchase her items. It was disgusting! Savers, Vincent Dupaul, Salvation Army, lots of local thrift stores besides GOODWILL. What a rotten way to treat people that shop there.

Racist white man went around the store and kicked out all of the POC five minutes before the actual store closed. Allowed all white people to continue shopping. :/

Sadly I did not have a good experience at this Goodwill location. I came in with items I was hoping to return that didn’t work out for who I purchased them for. Doesn’t help that they took away the fitting rooms so there is no ability to try things on. When I walked to the cashier , she was too busy talking to another employee and instead decided to continue to carry on her conversation with her as I stood at the desk waiting to be helped. Also had AirPods in her ear so wasn’t listening when I asked her a question about my items! Not professional at all! Then when it came time for me to be rung up for my exchanges , instead of her asking help since she didn’t know what to do, she walked away from the register and told me to go to the other cashier to be helped! Will not be visiting this location again!

Neatest Goodwill I have been to and I managed the old Goodwill where U-haul is now for 2 years.. Even the toy area was straight and a young women was straightening as we left. Always drove by due to limited parking.
