Really poor customer service, I tried repeatedly to call their listed phone number at 4:15pm and nobody answered the phone call. I decided to make the trip in person the next business day after the "account specialist" from the bank's customer service line told me that my "fee's would be waved if I went to the bank in person". The lady in charge at the bank denied that nobody was answering the bank phone the day before and declined to wave the fee I was told by THEIR representative would be waved if I went to my local branch.I never had any issues when it was GREAT WESTERN BANK but after 4 years of being a loyal customer I'm disappointed to announce that I'll be shopping for a different local bank in town to serve my financial needs.

We've banked with Home Federal Bank (now it is a "Great Western Bank") for years. Tellers are always very friendly and personable, remember us by name, and are very kind to our kids. Although Great Western Bank of Marshall is one of many Great Western Banks, they are what a "hometown bank" should be. We've not had any issues with our accounts - everything is accurate and as it should be. With a few requirements, their checking is free.
