I go in there Sunday night and buy some kitchenware items. There's a sign that says all kitchenware is 50% off. At the register, everything rings up at the regular price. I tell the two cashiers about the 50% off sign. Neither one goes to check, and they don't give me the sale price. I told them to just remove the items. They had no clue what is even on sale in their own store! Frustrating!

I'm usually very happy with a Dollar general here in merrifield, but tonight I pulled in at 8:48 and the doors are closed and locked. I don't know what is going on inside the store but people rely on this store that live around and know that it stays open till 9 so we can come grab something we need. Tried calling multiple times but of course it's always busy.

Friendly staff and had what I was looking for. Aisles were very crowded and store cleanliness is what held back from getting this to 5.
