“When my family moved to Minneapolis, the person we bought our house from mentioned that many neighborhood families attended Grace. So I scheduled a tour and was drawn in by the creative and nurturing environments and ways in which they incorporate various early childhood philosophies into their program.
My son attended for two years - a pandemic baby, he had no previous experience in care outside the home. Every teacher was incredible and quickly became a beloved household name.
We utilized the available bus transportation, it was always reliable and made our three-kid morning routine possible. During my son’s last year there we also enrolled him in enrichment programming, which connected him to a larger Grace community as well as the neighborhood and larger Minneapolis community. The Poet-in-Residence experiences created a playful, positive connection to early literacy.
My family is neurodivergent and we were still figuring out how my son’s body and brain work while at Grace. The gentle, calm-but-consistent, and individualized guidance and support provided by his primary teacher and all staff provided an unconditionally safe and welcoming environment for him. Most importantly, my son experienced the joy of learning through play every single day.
Now successfully in Kindergarten, we still have play dates with dear Grace friends including a kiddo my son initially had a lot of conflict with - they were able to work through it thanks to the classroom community and social emotional skills they learned there. How amazing is that?!”
“We’ve had a great experience with this preschool. The teachers are excellent; very caring and easy to work with and our son genuinely enjoys going every day.
We’ve noticed he’s learning a lot, which has been awesome to see. They do a nice job planning things out month to month and the communication with the parents is very strong. We always feel like we know what’s going on, and the conferences are very helpful in keeping you informed on your child’s progress.
Overall, it’s been a really positive experience for our family, and we’d definitely recommend it.”

“This school has been fantastic for family (just finishing the fourth year of one of our kids going there, starting a 5th year in the fall). Not only are the teachers wonderful and thoughtful, but the cooperative model has really expanded our social network and given us a great view into the fun the kids have in the classroom (because we volunteer in the classroom around once a month). If the model of this school matches your needs (co-op, part-time), and you're live in the area, then I think you'd be making a wonderful choice bringing your kid here.”

“Our nearly 3 year old son has been at Jardin since he was six months old, and has thrived there every step of the way thanks to the incredible care, kindness, and thoughtfulness of the staff and teachers. We are grateful each day for the expertise and love Maestra Liz, Maestra Abi, and Maestra Claudia bring to his toddler experience-- and Angela greets him every single day as he heads to his classroom! The community here at Jardin Longfellow is nurturing and beautiful.”
“We have three girls – 2 ½-year-old twins and a five-month-old infant who attend Casa de Corazón Kingfield. We’re consistently impressed with their experience at school. The teachers are trained in early childhood education and take the time to prepare activities and learning modules for the children. Meals are healthy, and the children receive plenty of exercise and outside time. Finally, we are happy with how the school and teachers prioritize the safety of our children. The activities are safe, and the school has been upfront and transparent in the rare instance that one of our girls gets hurt. Our three girls love attending daycare, connecting with their classmates, and learning Spanish in an immersive environment. We highly recommend Casa de Corazón Kingfield!”

“We had such an excellent time at LHUMP. Our daughter loved her teachers and the whole staff. She was excited to go every day, growing and learning so much. The program and the love that everyone showed prepared her perfectly for Kindergarten. The community is also lovely as others have mentioned.”

“We have had such a wonderful experience with Peace Lutheran Preschool!
The teachers are incredibly invested in getting to know each child and do such a great job encouraging and supporting them. The atmosphere is always positive and welcoming. Communication has been excellent, and the activities/lessons are thoughtful, engaging, and well planned.
There are also so many fun “extra” events throughout the year that create really special memories for both the kids and families. Everything is very well organized, and having the calendar of events for the entire year at the beginning of the school year makes planning around work and family schedules easier!
We would absolutely recommend this preschool to other families!”
“I donated a 20 year old car in February 2024. The process was fast and easy and the people at Newgate (I worked mostly with Casey) were friendly and helpful. Over the years I've donated two other cars to charity and my experience with Newgate has been far and away the best. One of the other charities did not register the title change and a couple months after the donation I was called by the Stillwater Police saying my car had been abandoned there. The second time the person that came to tow the car was a subcontractor and not part of the charity and was reluctant to sign the title transfer. Once again, Newgate has been the best and easiest and most efficient way to donate a car. Also the tow truck driver called ahead about 15 minutes before showing up and had the car loaded and was gone in under 10 minutes. Very impressive.”

“In the year and a half that our child has been at southwest, the center director, Ms. Brenda, has become a part of our family. We trust her and deeply appreciate the care and communication she provides our family. Ms Casey and Ms Jamie are especially wonderful teachers. The biggest priority for a parent sending their baby to school is for them to be safe and loved and we’ve found that in Ms. Brenda.”

“We have had a truly wonderful experience at Mandala. The staff are warm, consistent, and go above and beyond to really know each child as an individual and support what they need to succeed. Communication with teachers and leadership has been outstanding: thoughtful, responsive, and transparent. This has made us feel very connected and supported as parents.
What has stood out most is the sense of belonging they create. My child struggles with transitions, and I have never seen him love a school the way he loves Mandala. He feels genuinely welcomed, safe, and known there, which has meant the world to our family.
The community events Mandala hosts create meaningful opportunities not just for the children to connect, but for parents to build relationships as well. It truly feels like a caring, intentional community rather than just a school.
We are deeply grateful for the care, professionalism, and heart the Mandala team brings to their work and would highly recommend this school to any family looking for a warm, child-centered environment.”

“We love FCDC! Our daughter has been in 3 different classrooms here as she's grown, and we have such a good experience in our 2 years here. There are days our daughter doesn't want to leave! The teachers deeply care for each kid, and the play-based learning really encourages skill development. The director knows every child and their personality. We trust FCDC and appreciate their daycare model!”
“The best school for your children. No regrets, and yes, I will do this all over again. God fearing, loving, and caring staffs. They take care of your children like they would theirs. Nice and friend environment.”

“Such caring teachers and staff! They really go out of their way to make your child feel special, supported, and loved. And my picky eaters LOVE the food. Feels like a little community. ❤️”
“I went here when i was little and im at a loss of words for how great this place is. I will never forget how these amazing people treated me like their own daughter, they knew my situation transitioning from my mom, foster care and then finally to my grandmas. I felt so at home always safe and never wanted to go home because i always had the best days. I love you guys for what youve done for me. Ill visit very soon!”
“Our infant son has been cared for at the Lab School for a few months now and we are thrilled with his care and development here. The staff are wonderful, responsive, and nurturing. I would recommend that anyone employed with the University attempt to have your children enrolled here.”
“We’ve absolutely loved our experience at Judson. It’s such a warm, caring environment. Lisa, the director, and all of the teachers make our kids feel seen, safe, and valued. They know every child by name and make sure each one is greeted and welcomed with genuine enthusiasm each day.
Lisa also goes above and beyond by organizing family events that help foster the wonderful sense of community that makes Judson so special. Our children have grown tremendously—both socially and emotionally—as well as in their early literacy skills.
Judson has been such a meaningful place for our family, and we truly can’t say enough good things about it.”
“The teachers and staff at Rayito are amazing! We have been really pleased with our experience with both of our kids over the last three years! Maestra Diana, Jazmin, Mirka, Jacqueline, Delia, Yannaly and so many more have all been amazing to our children and we love the community that the teachers and staff have created at the center!”
