Sellers beware - false advertising. Their website says you get 25-30% of the price they sell your items for. UNTRUE! I brought in practically brand new high-end items and received barely 19%. When I questioned what I received later that day when I saw the online prices for my items, I was told I would receive a call the next day. No call. I went in. Person working was very rude to me, terrible customer service, and would offer no explanation on how they came up with what little they gave me. No more Clothes Mentor for me. I've sent some of my things to ThredUp, and have already made more on 2 items selling than Clothes Mentor gave me on 8 items.

It upsets me that they give you only 1,2, or maybe 3 dollars at the most for clothes you bring in. I had 5 pair of never worn jeans 3 new unworn blouses tags on several very nice hardly worn shorts, tops and an expensive leather high end sandal. They took most everything l had, 2 full boxes. I was floored when they offered my $30 if l would take a store credit or $25 cash! I wanted cash. Hey mark up those item plenty, they could offer you more for items in excellent condition!! If you don’t mind selling your clothes for pocket change go for it!! 😩

I brought two 20 gallon bins with lids of washed and folded laundry and they told me they wouldn’t help me because my bins were too large… Offered to take one of my bins instead… but then why wouldn’t I just come back with the second bin at pick up?? She just didn’t want to do her job. Anyway, goodwill got everything, thanks!

You won’t waste your time with what they’ve selected! I’m a Pilates girl and loved their Lulu and Athleta assortment. Everything is in 10/10 condition you don’t have to worry about pilling old finds as I usually see at Plato’s Closet. A huge shout out to Sophie who assisted me with selling and also purchasing a few pieces, very courteous and helpful!!
