Considering the prolonged shortage of reloading components, I have to wonder how this shop stays open but I am glad they are surviving. I stopped in today and bought some items that are nearly impossible to find elsewhere. I am glad they are still here and wish them well. Even if things get better, I will shop here first from now on.

This is the best shop in the area, hands down.I have been doing business with the Gunstop (the gun store side) for over 20 years. Please disregard the one star reviews. They always offer the best prices they can (something easily confirmed by checking prices at other shops). Also, if you want some 20 something sales person to put on a smile for you, then go to Scheel's or Cabela's (and spend more). Larry and Dave (and the rest of the staff) actually know what they are talking about and will always be honest with you. This is genuinely an honest review. The only reason I even thought to chime in; I was checking the hours online for Fridays and saw some pretty ridiculous ratings, I would (and have multiple times) highly recommend the Gunstop and Larry Duda.

TERRIBLE!!! I made a mistake ordering a conversion kit for Dillon 550. I made the mistake of clicking the not received button on eBay and accidentally shut their eBay store down. I overlooked the return option to get in touch by email that way. They emailed back saying I received my package and that I was a liar. That’s ok to start off because I made a mistake but after saying three times I made a mistake and made it right on my end and they continue to call me a liar yea that don’t sit well with me!! The j*** was VERY RUDE and never acknowledged that I wasn’t a scammer and simply made a mistake!! Take you’re business else where!!!

Called to ask 1 question.. was on the phone for 58 seconds and instead of answering the question, the guy just talked down to me for not knowing it after I said I was new to reloading. I just asked a price for 1 item and he said “it’s irrelevant” just annoyed that he had to do his job.He obviously didn’t want to answer the question because it’s way more expensive than what you’d pay online to distributors who don’t act like you’re a thorn in their side for giving them business.Gun rights are constantly under attack and we don’t win any people over to the pro gun side by being rude to new customers. Just a thought.

Called about having a firearm transferred as they are nearby. Was informed they charge $25 which is perfectly reasonable, unless they have the gun in store in which case they double it to $50. What a joke. Find somewhere else.

I have owned and ran 3 business myself, the owner was rude demeaning, uncooperative, I mentioned I've been reloading for 50 years ,he laughed and said aloud ( this guy's been reloading for 50 years ! Ya right , ) my answer ( let me see 30 years ago this was Ammo Craft? Really nice old guy , helped anyone!) He through a list of on gun powders, I said I would take this 7lb powder, he grabbed the sheet back and scribbled that off, I said ( having a bad morning? Are we? ) I drove 2 hours to get 357 brass from him, have you ever seen Seinfelds ( the soup natzi? )**** enough said

Advice to anyone considering this particular business or any other for that matter - 1) Don’t visit or call with any expectations. No good can ever come from that and it’s not fair in my opinion. 2) Always remember, we’re all on the spectrum somewhere. It’s the spice of life that keeps things interesting. They parody surly, rude & arrogant store staff on television because it happens often. 3) Specialty neighborhood stores are rare nowadays and it’s a privilege to be able to visit them.

Gunstop has some bad reviews on here so I'll lay it out straight. In normal times they have everything a handloader could ask for and their prices are very competitive. Even now with all the shortages and non-existent powder and primers they haven't raised prices anywhere near as much as some other shops. Go in and talk to John and he'll get you sorted out. He knows what he's talking about, he'll let you know if he doesn't have an answer, and he's very pleasant.
