Store’s going out of business so I obviously want to use my gift card…sign on the door and inside says no gift cards…that should be illegal.

Cancelled my order for no reason Order: 10124867010 Joann fabrics is going down hill. I wouldn’t be surprised if they file for bankruptcy like party city. Ended up just going to hobby lobby and got same item for $2 cheaper and less hassle.

Laura at the fabric cutting counter at the Minnetonka location is FANTASTIC. She was so kind, patient and helpful. I needed some items that I had no clue about and she walked me through everything on the list and was so sweet! Thanks Laura!

18 Wheeler 53’ Dry Van if Delivering a load to JOANN’s … by appointment only no early check due to staff unloading is there on appointment time.. cool no problem. I parked at the mall the day before chilled out.Then around 2am-3am(zero mall traffic) park right here and wait for them to wake you up and follow the directions they give you.. super easy then move on to the next LZ. Shake n bake - if you ain’t 1st your last .. I’ll be back

Refused to give me a refund for return with receipts. They said since it was over 5 dollars they cannot give me refund back to my original payment? And store credit was given… crazy.
Maybe they should let customers know about this POLICY. Ridiculous.

The store is huge and well-stocked. Not enough employees in the front though. Only one lady was doing everything so it was really slow.

BEWARE before purchasing any sewing machines from this store. The Tuesday before Christmas, I ran into the store to grab a quick last minute sewing machine for a gift. I was able to find the sewing machine I was looking for and it was not locked up so I grabbed it and paid for it. Later that night, I found out someone had already purchased the same sewing machine so I had my husband return it with receipt the very next day morning. We were charged a $25 restocking fee which is absolutely ludicrous. $25 to take the sewing machine 100ft back to the shelf. I did not know this policy and was not informed until my husband tried to return the machine and was shown the policy on the receipt. I reached out to customer service, had several emails back and forth only to receive the final email stating the $25 restocking fee as policy. I plan to bring my future business anywhere else as I'm still baffled that the $100 sewing machine purchase resulted in a $25 loss for me.

Absolutely lovely, kind and patient staff! However, corporate has clearly not supported them at all. Hotter in the store than outside on a 75 degree day due to lack of air conditioning and staff seemed incredibly overworked for the customer to staff ratio. Jo-Ann corporate: do better!
