Just had the greatest experience at Nordstrom. If you are looking for great makeup and skin care, go see Christie Anne in Tom Ford makeup. She did an application for me, described each product She was using, the proper way to apply it, why she was using what she was, and even included my little one with a touch of makeup to be like her mama! She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and passionate about her job and helping customers. THAT'S TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have to share how extremely disappointed I am in Nordstrom Ridgedale. My husband purchased a sport coat, slacks, shirts, etc... just after the holidays. The suiting pieces needed to be altered, which he had done. As luck would have it, when I picked everything up, the pant hems weren't even and needed to be redone. Unfortunately, my husband works out of state, so we had to wait a bit to get the pants redone. I reached out to our original sales person, Dwight, and he said no problem. We could bring them in anytime it was convenient for my husband. Sadly, we had a death in the family this week, so he was in need of his slacks with a quick turnaround. I picked my husband up from the airport last night and we drove directly to Nordstrom Ridgedale to get the pants fixed.. We immediately told the Alterations person, Veronica and the Sales person, Peter, that we needed to pick them up tomorrow for a funeral. We were immediately told there would be a $10. "rush charge". I was taken a back and said when was a "rush fee" added? The Alterations person, Veronica was extremely rude and had no sympathy that we were asking for the rush due to a funeral. I worked for Nordstrom in a managerial capacity years ago in Northern California. Actually in what used to be Women's Tailored Clothing, now Studio. I was extremely familiar with alteration fees and policies of old. I also helped open Ridgedale and worked in Individualist. Neither time, did I remember ever charging a "rush fee" for a customer that was either a re-do or for a funeral! It's not about the $10. so much as it is for the experience and lack of customer service. Nordstrom used to be synonymous with "customer service". Sadly that doesn't seem to even be in their vocabulary any more.

We visited the Black Tux inside of this Nordstrom. While we were waiting, there was a Nordstrom Employee in the Men's Department. (Slicked back blond hair, tall) (not related to the black tux) who was having a good time trying on different jackets and looking at himself in the mirror. He tried one and called over another associate to say "Look how swole my shoulders have gotten". He then continued to wear the jacket while chatting with a female colleague in the corner. Nordstrom should consider staffing less folks in the Men's department on Saturday nights as this was very unprofessional.

Was in the perfume area. When I first walked in, someone asked me if she could help, but I knew what I was there for, so I didn't need it. However, when I went to pay, the ladies didn't notice me, so I was just standing there waiting. Then the nicest lady from another area saw me waiting and ran over to help me. Usually, it's really good service, though. Prob just a one-off.

I've had hit or miss experiences here. It's really unfortunate I feel like i'm looked down upon when I come into the store... They look at you and judge. One tall dude don't know his name. He was working in the suit area told me they did not have a specific pair of shoes even though the app said they did... I asked someone else and they were actually kind enough to check and low and behold, They did have it in stock. How can you not even bother to look and just tell me no. I wasn't gonna sit there and argue with some dude, Who thinks he's better than someone else.Highly recommend the creed fragrances and Sue can help you out.

I purchased hand cream for my wife for Christmas; I didn't know much about it other than it's expensive. The gal helped me navigate the cost vs effective scenario pretty well.She then suggested a hydrating spray, apparently it's what's necessary nowadays, anyways...my wife loved them as her Christmas gift ? ?.

Highly recommend their lattes. Staff was friendly and helpful but it took forever to find a checkout station with someone working. When I found one, anothercustomer was basically holding the only employee hostage for a 20 minute chat so the wait was forever. Not the employees fault but there should have been more people staffing the checkout stations over the weekend.

My experience at the MOA Loacation !!I had a very alarming experience on the 4th floor customer service / package pickup counter today 12/19 at 11:37 am . I had 3 returns to do . I was initially helped by a very rude woman named Esme B. , 2 of my returns were on the same credit card , 1 return was on a different credit card that I since got a replacement card for , I asked Esme If I could put my return with the replacment card on a different card to make sure I get my money back , she said no , so I aked for a manager to approve it . she looked and seemed very upset , so Instead of calling for a manager , she helps the couple behind me . I stood there for over 10 minutes not knowing what was going on . When she was finally done I asked her why she helped the couple behind me Instead of finishing with me and calling for a manager , she would say nothing back to me . More associates came up at this point and they all started talkng in Spanish about me and looking at me very angrily . One of the other associates was named Feven B. I ended up calling the store from my cell phone and asked for a manager to come up to the package pickup area , bc not one of the 3 women associates would call for one ??? . Finally a floor supervisor named Mat C. Helped me . I explained everything to him , and instead of helping me , he proceeds to lecture me about credit card fraud and made me feel like I was a criminal trying to pull one over on Esme , Instead of addressing Esmes poor unprofessional behavior. I spend alot of money at Nordstrom and my experience today was appalling to say the least . Mat dropped the ball big time as a supervisor. Esme and the other employees talking about me in Spanish should be written up . It felt very racially targeted , like they dont like Caucasian customers . I will never shop at Nordstroms again after this . I will share my experience on social media so others can avoid a situation like this . I emailed the store manager Joe Greco about this , with no response!!
