Wells Fargo has been a nightmare for me. After being with them for 25 years they allowed fraud money wire to go through my checking account for $21575. I caught it immediately and went to a branch to try to fix it. They admitted to the fraudster calling them to approve the wire yet they tell me there was no fraud and that it was a standard transaction. They have since denied the fraud claim multiple times. They won't even refund the $30 transfer fee. Look at their F rating with the BBB. Look at all their fines to the OCC and the CFPB. They simply don't care.

Can you believe that the Manager of Wells Fargo in Minnetonka, Syed zaidi, actually called me to disturb me, can you believe it? Did a bank manager who called you and yelled at you? , It's unreasonable. I'm very, very angry about this matter. I hope wells Fargo can give me a satisfactory answer. What's going on, it's been two weeks and no one has contacted me? Are you done asking me questions? What do I want to apologize for?

The rules change from teller to teller. The first teller I dealt with for changing money, $10 bills into $100 bills, just did it for me no questions asked. The second teller 'needed' my Wells account number to do it. The one this morning, the third different one, needed by driver's license. ( When I showed her my Wells Fargo account number she got angry and demanded to see my drivers license. ) Maybe it is the particular teller you have the misfortune of dealing with or position of the moon at that moment or some other cosmic factor but keep in mind that things are quite subjective at this place.

I write this review as a heads up to others who are considering banking with Wells Fargo or already have an account. After banking with Wells Fargo for about 30 years, including 2 mortgages, I no longer have confidence in Wells Fargo's integrity or competency. Having retired and now living part time out of state, we went into the Hwy 7 and Cty Rd 101 branch to close our 3 accounts. We needed a bank that was available in Florida. Unfortunately, the staff at the Hwy 7 branch did not close the accounts correctly. This resulted in the accounts staying open behind the scenes at Wells Fargo with all funds withdrawn. As a result, one of the closed accounts processed an auto pay that had previously been moved to Chase, our new bank. Our closed personal credit line was then accessed to cover the auto pay from our closed checking account. Since then I have called multiple times, went into multiple branches (after being told there was no one at Hwy 7 branch who could help), sent numerous emails, and researched and provided Wells Fargo with documentation of the closings. However, after Wells Fargo agreed in a reply email that a mistake was made about the closing date for the accounts, they keep insisting we owe them money to cover their error. With Wells Fargo being investigated and fined by government agencies over the last few years regarding their business practices, I probably should not be surprised at this money grab.

My wife and I had an appointment today with Anthony M. the Branch Manager at Minnetonka and he was outstanding. I have open 30 plus accounts in my life and have met with bankers for over 30 years and today was by far the best experience I have ever had with a banker. He listened, made great recommendations and was very professional. Thank you Anthony for the great service today.

If you call them, there is always no one to answer the phone. If you don't believe it, you can try.

In times of COVID I've sadly grown accustom to long wait times and poor customer service across the board. This week I had a very different experience with this Wells Fargo branch, which I've been banking at for over a decade. The initial online process to see a banker was pretty straight forward, and once I arrived (although the bank was empty) I was immediately taken back to a cubicle to work with a gentleman by the name of Adan Wondra. Admittedly skeptical at first, Adam quickly won me over. He was friendly, knowledgable and efficiently worked through what my needs were, and actually directed me that I had more work to do on my end before he could follow through with opening an account for me. Normally an annoying message to hear, Adam did so in as supportive of a way as possible. He then took a call from my accountant later in the day in order to assure I had the proper instructions to follow through on what I needed to get done. He gave me his personal business card, which I emailed once I had the necessary documents in place, and then HE WORKED ME INTO HIS ALREADY BUSY SCHEDULE THE SAME DAY. Yes, folks...he went out of his way to accommodate my needs when he absolutely did not have to. Furthermore, when I was at the bank for the second time meeting with Adam, a lovely gentleman by the name of Anthony Martinez, the Branch Manager, checked in with me a couple times making sure all of my needs were being met and that I was comfortable. He struck up a pleasant conversation (that was genuinely interesting) about his family and that he was new to the area. He then gave me his card and told me that if I needed anything that I could reach him as well as Adam. He admitted there had been some turn-over at the bank, which I appreciated, and that he was striving to make improvements. Being a manager in a customer service oriented business myself, I can fully relate to these challenges, and very much appreciated the efforts for improvements Anthony is striving to make. He did not ask me to write a review, but I'm compelled to do so simply because it's far too often that folks only take the time when they are upset.Well done Anthony and Adam -- You are making a real difference to deliver a stellar experience within your bank! Thank you!

Slowest drive through. It’s a little bit hard to believe there has been zero movement in the 3 lanes for about 30 minutes. Maybe there are no tellers?

Wish I could talk with a banker. Thank you to the CSS that show up and do their best at answering what they can. But the ones that can get into the accounts and take care of something are hard to reach at this time. The rest of Wells Fargo is good, as always, but the banker end of things is just messed up.

The bank management is too bad. The teller is too lazy.

I've been working with Derek since I opened my bank account. I love working with Derek he has great knowledge and advice on all matters. I feel like he is a brother to me treating me like family and we both think alot alike about experiences in life and the things that impact us and life even though they are different. I'm always welcomed and treated with the most respect. I can't say enough about Derek besides he is great person and always helpful.
